I collect the german comics and only a few days ago found out that there are pages missing from the comics I own. I am in the process of looking through all of them, but at least from the first 5 comics from the original quest, there are 1-3 pages missing per comic. None of these pages are really story relevant, but I just think its so sad, that for some reason they were not included in the german comics.

In the 4th comic "Wolfsong" for example, the panels were even slightly rearranged to have a whole page less. The faces of the 10 previous wolf chiefs are just not shown in the comic and two pages were compressed to one. Maybe it is because the comics had to have a certain number of pages in print and they had to remove some of the pages, but still, I am sad to have missed some pages in the past.

I also noticed that at least in the earlier comics, the coloring in the german versions shies away from drawing too much blood.

Only a few days left to get the new ElfQuest Pin Collection! Don't miss the chance to collect some of ElfQuest's most iconic shadow characters.

I was reading Wolfrider and in the chapter where Bearclaw and Joyleaf recognize, at the beginning of the chapter there is an info that this story might've been told differently in the past and that gets overwritten by what they show in this comic. I do remember seeing the recognition of them both in some comic before, but I don't remember where.
Does anyone remember where we saw that?

I want to reread the comics again and I was wondering what all the revelations are that come later, that i can pay attention to when rereading. I've reread the comics multiple times already, but only on my last reread also been able to fully read The Final Quest and Stargazers Hunt.
I know that there are apparently hints to Cutter getting killed by a spirit maker, I think this refers to the Wolfrider Comic?
I only recently again saw that in The Final Quest, it is revealed that Timmain and Cutter share a soul. I didn't fully understand that back then. Could someone explain that again? I want to know what to look out for when rereading the comics.

I just want an action figure of Cutter where he doesn’t look like a mutant!! Why is that so hard??

Rayek at the beginning of “Rogue’s Challenge”! I tried for a long time to do that and finally gave up. Glad to see it’s possible for someone!

So I was recently reminded that Poison Elves was a thing and I've been revisiting/discovering it all over again. I know Drew Hayes cited both Cerebus and Elfquest as big inspirations for Poison Elves but I'm now reading there may have been some beef between Hayes and the Pinis? It may be a load of hooey, as Hayes had a fake feud going on with Brian Michael Bendis while he was doing Jinx, but I figured I'd ask here.

The first time I heard about Elfquest was from a friend. It was their childhood.

It took me some time to actually check out the series, but now I'm glad I started. It would've been nice to be a part of the fandom much earlier but I actually don't mind finding out about it as an adult. I feel like I can appreciate the story in a different way. I love the personal freedom of the characters and also their romantical and sexual openness and the strong bonds they have across these relationships. It's been depicted in such a beautiful way that I seldom see in other places.

And of course the rest of the story is also captivating, very rich and colourful story and characters. I only read "The Original Quest", but I already fell in love with it. Looking forward to reading the rest of Elfquest.

I just started new blood and I'm a bit confused on the lore.

I've read original quest siege kings shards and hidden years.

But I'm not sure how new blood fits in. Like I get that some of the canon is a bit loose.

I just want to know what new blood is really about. Like what is it's main plot?

Is there anything I need to know before going in?

The end goal is to have the whole deck full of Wendy Pini's artwork it's just a tedious process.

Hi all,
With the release of the beautiful Hidden Years Gallery Edition, I have to ask if anyone noticed or can explain why the iconic Cutter pinup from the back cover of issue 1 was not included in the first Gallery Edition that features issues 1-5.

I have a first edition printing I purchased when it came out and all other back cover pinups are included. What’s the story??

Thanks in advance for any info!

I picked up volume 8 at a Barnes & Noble a few months ago, got around to starting it, and these sons of zwoots stuck what looks to be an anti-theft sticker *to a page halfway through the book*. Like stuck stuck. To the page. No way to remove it. Figured I should warn folks.

My dad found his old comics. I saw and looked up elfquest. And now I've been reading through the story online. I'm on new blood now. Plz no spoilers thx.

Thought I’d post it here. I do like the art and I’ll see about giving it a shot.

So in Final Quest many characters are sporting a small diamond shaped thing that looks like a piece of the palace, in some frames they seem to glow. Leetah, Nightfall, Strongbow and others can be seen wearing them.

In Stargazers Hunt a similar jewel that Goldruff wears is spoken about and explained, but I can’t tell if these things are described or even acknowledged in Final Quest.

In the stories just before, Searcher and the Sword and Discovery, they don’t appear. They seem to be new to Final Quest.

Did I miss an explanatory panel? What are they? Why are they? From whence did they come?
