Ok so i just beat malenia for the first time ever and it took 13 or 14 attempts which is marias executioners with multi hit setup im rl 127 and dont have too crazy stats and only buff with gv and fgms but she melted easily and im finding it hard to switch to anything else its not like i dont like anything ive been considering maybe spiky balls or eleanoras poleblade but it seems to me that nothing is gpnna be as good as this and my damage can only get better so i dont know what to do if you guys have good advice on what to do to get myself interested in other builds or share your fun builds and ill see if it interests me ig

I have 133 hours in this game, and I haven't beat it once. I've beaten every main game boss, but the DLC is taking a while.

Should I just beat it, start a ng+ and beat the dlc there?

I'm running a Sword of Night and Flame build right now, and went for the Bull Goat Talisman plus some armor for a total of 57 poise. I thought that since this is above 51, I would be able to pull of my ash of war without flinching at least when against weaker enemies, but it feels like everyone staggers me any way?

I just flinched when one of those annoying spiky looking dogs attacked me, surely they aren't hitting me for more than 57 poise damage?

What am I missing? I love the sword and the aow, but it's so frustrating to get staggered since it doesn't have any hyper armor.

I see most people saying they kill bosses in less than 10 attempts, but for me it takes over 20 lot of times. Im fighting godrick rn and im 30 attempts in. I think can beat him in the next 10 but still, also for example ulcerated tree spirit took me around 120 attempts. My total deaths are ~570
