𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Ilsa and the dogs are cute!
She's precious how much she cares for the pups. On the quest where you have to help one of the dogs that got injured hit home for me since it looks like he wasn't going to make it, I recently lost my dog so I'm glad the fictional one survived.

𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 First person dogma is so PEAK
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Somebody made a first person mod. If you're wondering why the view is so low it's because Grant's Arisen is pocket sized, only 150cm tall!
Still got a little bit of jank, but it's already amazing as it is! Immersion increased by tenfold. The environment is breathtaking, Beorcans and Direwolves are huge, plus I love seeing our party up close. 3:40 was my fav seeing both archer doing acrobatic at the same time. Some places in Norgan also kinda reminds me of Skyrim in this mode, like the Riften forest area.
I haven't tried playing melee while using this yet, but it might be disorienting.

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Feels weird that we can't walk to Norgan
Given how much of the game is about long journeys by foot, it would've been so cool to start the DLC by heading down a new canyon slowly seeing your usual Vermund monsters transition to some early Norgan encounters. Maybe end it with a view from up high of Norgan, like how we get introduced to Battahl. After all, the Vermundian expedition made it by foot, why couldn't we?

𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 & 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 PSA to all fellow Arisen for fighting the Lost Rites in the UMW Spoiler
For anyone struggling dealing with Evil Eyes and their shields making your weapons bounce off, you can pick them up and throw them at each other! Saw one of my pawns pick one up and had to try it myself. Immediately thought I needed to share this info with everyone dungeon delving in UMW. The big Evil Eye can also be affected by thrown smaller ones if it's shield is up but needs more hits with other ones. This also seems to be tied to the new Evil Eye related achievement so try your best to get a strike!

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 getting the gagana to destroy all the ice in its lair might’ve been the most tedious and infuriating thing in the entire game
holy shit this was infuriating to deal with. this dumb chicken wouldn’t breathe in the right locations, wouldn’t follow me up above. this took SO long.

𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 I am starting to like Magick Archer in Dark Arisen
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After playing for hours with thief and warrior I got a bit tired with the current playstyle and wanted to find a chill vocation that suits my playstyle.
I tried archer, sorc, and trickster but it still doesn't scratch that itch that I have.
Then I played Magick Archer and I am loving so far how to play dps MA with the endgame. Funny because I've been watching tierlists, reading reviews, and checking out information on how MA has been nerfed in Dark Arisen.
But in my opinion MA is now just a BALANCED vocation now overall. And I am loving the chill gameplay that it has. Very low maintenance and requires full use of the pawn building and planning effectively.
My build for MA is basically incomplete to just being carried by the battle frenzy 4 on the bow.
Also this video has a full version on youtube if you guys are interested (this is just the shortened version to show the ridiculous damage it outputs): https://youtu.be/m2YKN1wFDi8

𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙖/𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙨 Introducing: /r/PawnGuild - A place to share and show off your pawns!
Hail, r/DragonsDogma!
With permission from the mod team, I'm here to introduce r/PawnGuild, a subreddit I've set up with a sole focus on pawns!
I created the sub because I struggled to find a centralized location specifically for pawn hires. Most places don't aim to serve only this purpose, meaning pawn recruitment requests are often ignored. Places that *do* focus on this are often websites that require registration and a cumbersome process of submission and maintenance of information. Once you get set up, it's no big deal, but it's barrier enough for some people to be turned off the idea entirely. Discord servers exist, too, but the limitation there is the service's implementation and layout of the commonly used threads function (really, what *isn't* Discord making worse?).
My goal with r/PawnGuild isn't to replace already existing communities and services. Others do things better than I do and with time and resources I don't have; they're masterworks all, you can't go wrong. Rather, I'd like to provide an additional space for players to post and show off the pawns they're so proud of and hopefully find some hiring to be done along the way, but using a tool that we're all here visiting already.
I hope the community finds the subreddit to be of some use, and I'm open to all manner of feedback and suggestions to make it a helpful place for people to gas one another's pawns up!

𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 What sword should my Black Iron Tarkus pawn use?
Having a hard time deciding on what sword (skin) to use for my DD iteration of Black Iron Tarkus (see final image in slide). I'm favoring Ogresbane or Knight's Grandblade, but man the War Blade always looked so cool to me.
If you came across my pawn, what sword do you think looks the best, even if not entirely accurate to the source material?
