Next milestone. The Hello Atmos library just passed 135k Dolby Atmos albums on Apple Music and Tidal.

The full story so far:

  • January 24, 2026 → 1.4k+
  • January 30, 2026 → 25k+
  • February 4, 2026 → 80k+
  • February 10, 2026 → 104k+
  • June 2026 → 120k+
  • July 2026 → 125k+
  • Today → 135k+

The catch-up phase is over. What comes in now is almost entirely new releases, roughly 1,000 to 2,000 a month, which is a decent proxy for how much Atmos content the industry actually ships.

We have 2,500+ album ratings on Hello Atmos (March to October 2026, 3 dimensions: immersion, spatial creativity, sonic quality). I pulled everything with Steven Wilson's name on it.

As an artist:

  • 45 ratings, average 9.76 out of 10. Site average is 8.55.
  • The Overview (9.80) and The Harmony Codex (9.70) are the #1 and #2 highest-rated albums on the entire site, 20 ratings each.

As a mix engineer:

  • 133 ratings, average 9.28. The most-rated engineer in the database, nobody else is close (Nick Rives is second with 61).
  • 4 of the 20 highest-rated albums on the site are his remixes: Welcome To The Pleasuredome (9.58), Made in Japan (9.46), The Tipping Point (9.40), and Chicago II.
  • He's the #2 most-used engineer filter in our library (after Stan Kybert).
