Discussion Know before you go: Report people who cut lines!

I didn’t know that cast members can have security called on people who cut the line/they can be sent to the back or out of the park. So if someone cuts you, please report them so that they never do it again and it serves as an example to other people who want to attempt it.

Yesterday two parties cut my toddlers and I, probably because I’m a petite girl and look easy to cut.. only one party left the line after I confronted, but the other said “my kid is autistic, so no, im going to stay right here.”

as the title says, I’m trying to recreate it!! but no one I’ve seen online so far has been able to do those super pretty streaks from the cold foam. Everytime I see a video of someone recreating it, their cold foam doesn’t do the same effect

Can’t always trust this but the calendar on the Disney site is showing the last day of the refurb as 10/22 meaning it should be reopening on the 23rd. Great news for anyone heading there towards the tail end of the Halloween season and into the holidays.

Food/Drink When did they discontinue the vegetarian breakfast chimichangas??

I kept hearing people rage about these things but they were sold out by the time I got there last time. But today when I got there right after opening they said they don't even make them anymore! I'm so bummed I missed out even though it's just a basic breakfast burrito that's fried lol. They keep removing the best vegetarian options like the Bengal skewers and giving us more salads :/

Help! scooter for 85yo mother

We are going to Disneyland the first week of November. My mom wants to come but she had back surgery a few years ago that makes it very difficult for her to walk more than about a half a mile. We are thinking of renting her a scooter but she is apprehensive. Her first job out of high school was being Mary Poppins at Disneyland and loves it there but hasn’t been in forever. I really want to make it accessible for her and make it so she can actually enjoy it. We dished out for the lightening lanes and are staying at Grand CA. But yeah if anyone has experience bringing elderly family I would love to hear

Discussion I can't be the only one to think that Mission Breakout is one of Disney's biggest mistakes, right?

I am a huge Tower of Terror fan, so understandably, I absolutely HATE Mission Breakout. I truly believe that Mission Breakout is one of Disney's worst mistakes ever. And I'm not even saying this as a Tower fan, but I genuinely think that Mission Breakout has also completely ruined the entirety of DCA. Just starting from the building itself, it looks really ugly, and it looks like someone just stuck a bunch of wires on a bar of copper. I recently watched the Tower of Terror episode of Behind the Attractions, and they stated that one of the main reasons that Tower was able to be so easily changed is because it only looks like a hotel because of all the addons. But at least Tower was able to easily communicate it was a hotel. Ask someone who has never seen an image of either Tower of Terror or Mission Breakout before and ask them to describe what they think each ride is. Another thing mentioned in that episode was that the story of Tower had to make a lot of sense. Sure, the story wasn't perfect, but it makes a lot more sense than Mission Breakout and was able to explain why the elevator opened its doors to the outside world, or why there were burn marks around it. Tower also had way better detailing, as DCA had many references to it, such as billboards, easter eggs, and even ads on the Red Car Trolley (which Mission Breakout also ruined). Mission Breakout offers none of that and even caused all of these cool details to just vanish. Moving on from Tower, Mission Breakout has ruined the entirety of DCA. Not only did it break one of Walt's major rules about sightlines (unless you're standing right next to it in Avengers Campus, it constantly looks out of place, and can sometimes even be an eyesore), but it also caused the closure of a bug's land (which I know isn't that big of a deal to some, but there are probably a ton of bug land fans out there) to make way for Avenger's Campus, and caused the closure of the Red Car Trolley (which was literally one of the best parts of DCA) for more of Avengers Campus. I recently saw this quote (or something similar to this quote) on an article, and I think it perfectly sums up what Mission Breakout is: "Mission Breakout was Disney's attempt to turn DCA's most popular ride into DCA's most popular ride"

I do wish that I could see some sides of the Mission Breakout argument, but almost every point I see is either "I thought Tower of Terror was pretty ugly anyways" (which, let's face it, if you thought Tower of Terror was ugly, there is actually no way you find Mission Breakout better), and "Mission Breakout is way more intense and actually randomized, so therefore its better" (which Disney could've very easily fixed by adding randomization like they did with Disney Adventure World's tower)

So, in conclusion, Mission Breakout was a huge mistake that ruined the whole park, and I hope I'm not the only one to think this. But if you are a Mission Breakout fan, PLEASE let me know why you think that, because I actually fail to see any redeemable qualities Mission Breakout has over Tower.

Discussion How would you guys feel about a Space Mountain Fantastic Four Overlay??

Post image

With the Tomorrowland Reimagining coming in the future I was thinking about some cool additions they could add. I’m sure they’re going to keep Space Mountain mostly as is and tbh I think it’s fine just the way it is.

However, the only overlay it currently has it Hyperspace Mountain since Ghost Galaxy never came back. What if they brought in F4 in another Summer of Heroes event? Now I know DCA has all the Marvel stuff but I think F4 First Steps fits perfectly in Tomorrowland. I love the Retro Futuristic Aesthetic

They can maybe call it Space Mountain: Fantastic Flight and have the loading/queue area can be a Space Station for the F4 fit with new neon lighting and other small additions.

The story can be Galactus has entered our solar system and you guessed it, he wants to devour Earth. The rockets can be vehicles Reed has created to combat and distract Galactus while the F4 fight him off in time to have him be teleported similarly to how he was defeated in the First Steps film

The Star Tunnel Lift can have Galactus looming over the riders in the center with his glowing eyes locking in on them with stars flying past as they speed to reach him. Other projections and lighting effects can be added and a new soundtrack.

Im not sure if adding Silver Surfer to the mix would be good, maybe this ride can be take place after the film and now she’s a hero helping the F4 and the riders

But what do you guys think? How would you guys do an F4 overlay? Also is it a good idea or should Space Mountain stay as is?

Discussion Avengers Campus should’ve been Wakanda instead

The corporate cent airport aesthetic of Avengers Campus could’ve easily been a vibrant, art-filled version of Wakanda that basically fits the same theme, just better. Is there another MCU vibe or place that would be better?
