Hey everyone! I'm looking for a male writing partner interested in a detailed, long-term Omegaverse roleplay with dark romance elements, fated mates, possessive Alphas, forced proximity, and plenty of emotional tension.

I love stories featuring powerful, protective, morally gray Alphas and female characters with their own personalities, motivations, and reasons to resist them. Give me slow burns, complicated bonds, dangerous circumstances, emotional reunions, and characters who find themselves falling for someone they never expected to want.

I'm hoping to develop one of these concepts into a longer story with approximately 10 substantial scenes, allowing plenty of room for character development, external conflicts, and a romance that develops naturally.

Here are the three ideas I'd love to explore!

1. Seventy-Two Hours in a Safehouse

Following an attack on an Omegaverse facility, she's relocated to a fortified safehouse, only to find herself trapped with a single Alpha. He's disciplined, intimidating, and determined to keep their relationship professional, despite the unmistakable tension between them.

When the doors seal, communications fail, and her suppressed heat symptoms begin to surface, they're forced to rely on each other. But as they uncover evidence that the lockdown wasn't an accident, surviving becomes more complicated than either anticipated.

2. The Mafia Alpha's Unwanted Mate

He's the ruthless heir to a powerful criminal empire, and she's the last person he should ever want: his fated mate. Whether she's connected to a rival family or an unfortunate witness to a crime, their bond makes her a dangerous vulnerability.

He brings her into his world under the guise of protection, surrounding her with guards, rules, and enemies she never knew existed. As betrayal threatens his empire, he'll have to decide how much he's willing to sacrifice for the woman who refuses to trust him.

3. The Mate Who Disappeared

He found her at a party, and the moment he caught her scent, he knew she was his mate. They shared a few precious hours together before she was kidnapped and vanished without a trace. For months, he searched relentlessly, refusing to believe she was gone forever.

Then he walked into a roadside diner a few miles outside his territory and found her working as a waitress.

She's alive, but something is terribly wrong. She looks at him with recognition and fear, offering no explanation for her disappearance. Now he must uncover who took her, why she's hiding, and whether she'll trust him enough to return to the life they were never given the chance to begin.

What I'm looking for in a writing partner

• Someone interested in collaborative, long-form storytelling.
• A male writer comfortable portraying a dominant, complex, and potentially morally gray Alpha.
• Detailed replies with dialogue, internal thoughts, emotional depth, and meaningful progression.

It is 1989 and the collapse of the Soviet Union is a few years away. Conditions are not great, not terrible. Many people leave for other countries (UK, USA, Other European Countries), this where your character meets Dimitri Petrovich Vasiliev. A Soviet expat now living in (TBD). he is a 20 year old artist who hopes to someday be recognized among the greats. Dimitri is also gay and living in a time, coming from a country that frowned upon said reality. Arriving with family and the burdens that come with a family. He is the main breadwinner.

I’ve done a lot of 1:1 roleplays and I’ve been in some big group servers with 20+ people… but have you ever tried something with only 3-4 players? The kind of RP where you’re fully immersed in the story, you actually know every character, and the world feels alive because you’re building it together instead of getting lost?

I want to world build with a few like-minded people who enjoy collaborative storytelling. We’ll all have a couple of main characters, keep the cast tight, and really dig into the relationships and tension.

I enjoy all kinds of romance and I’m happy to explore a range of tropes. Your IRL gender doesn’t matter to me. All I ask is you willing to build the world with me, open to collaboration and write at least 3-4 paragraphs for reach response.

Setting idea (very open to adjusting):

Willow Creek is a quaint community nestled in the heart of the American Midwest, founded during the pioneer days. Over the years it has grown but remains a small, tight-knit town, insulated from the outside world. To city dwellers it might seem dull, to country folks it’s a slice of paradise.

At the center of the community is the local church, pastored by Nathaniel Hawthorne. A war veteran whose family has deep roots in Willow Creek since the 1800s. As a devoted father of two grown daughters, Nathaniel is increasingly worried about the future of his family and, by extension, the future of their town.

We could portray Pastor Hawthorne’s daughters as main characters. The rest of us could play the main male characters, mostly revolving around the daughters’ love interests. One idea: a city boy who’s dating (or pursuing) the elder daughter. Another: a local “hero” type who’s adored by nearly everyone in town… but who’s a bit more sinister under the surface. I’d love to keep a sense of exciting tension running through the story with other interesting local characters in the mix.

Hi there! I’m Jane, and I’ve got an awful lot of role play experience under my belt and I’m a big fan of creating my own worlds and characters for others to explore. This setting is a historical Pennsylvanian coal mining town known as “Ursa Major” inspired by real coal mining towns such as Jim Thorpe, PA, and the fictional Possum Springs of Night in The Woods, with some supernatural elements that range from mysterious happens in line with folk tales and some episodes of Gravity Falls, to classic Cryptozoological lore and Cryptids. You weren’t sure what drove you to this- driving out to the middle of bumfuck nowhere, Pennsylvania, in the dead of winter. But you felt right about it, deep down. You were in desperate need of some sort of relief from all the bullshit you were putting up with at home. Mainly work. Mostly work. So there you were- driving through the dark, winding forests and mountains of Pennsylvania. It was late, yes, sure. But you were confident that the coffee you’d drank earlier would be enough to keep you stable enough to operate the motor vehicle you found yourself behind.

It was dark, though. A special kind of dark. Like your headlights, high beams barely did much at all to rid the darkness out from your path. Plus it was snowing. And windy. Basically a step and a half away from a full blown blizzard but you were too stubborn to pull to the side of the road and try to sleep through it. Surely the signs you passed here and there couldn’t be lying. Surely, any moment now, you’d find civilization once more.

As you were muttering to yourself about towns, continuing to drive down the road, you finally managed to find the entrance to a town- Ursa Major.

You were glad to finally reach civilization and thusly lowered your guard a little- relaxing, knowing soon you’d be able to stop by an inn and find a place to rest. Your mind was wandering a little bit, as you drove to the road leading to the town.

Clearly your mind had wandered too much.

Deer.

You swerved, hearing the sound of your tires slipping as you hit a patch of ice. It seemingly wasn’t enough. You heard a crash, you jostled forward, and like that, you were out.

The next moments felt hazy. You were out of it, yes, having just been in a car accident but you could feel someone, pulling you out from the wreckage, muttering something you couldn’t make out.

You woke up. Diner. In a booth. Head still hurt a little but you were alive, laying down, staring at the ceiling. It took a moment to adjust to the brightness.

Once your eyes adjusted you hear the sound of footsteps approaching. A woman’s face appeared looking down at yours, a deeply concerned expression on her face, framed by brown hair. She frowned. “Can you sit up?” She asked. “Found you in that wreck. I mean- wasn’t too bad. Some minor damage to the hood, bumper… wouldn’t be all that worried, I called up Hank, he should be able to take care of it.”

Once you felt vaguely like yourself again the woman lead you over to the counter of the diner. “Can I get you anything to drink, eat? It’s late I know, I’m the only one here.” She waved a hand at the empty stools, tables and booths around. “But I’d be happy to cook something up for you.”

Taking a pot of coffee and pouring herself some, she took as sip. “So… you know I actually saw it happen. Your little… accident, I mean. I was heading home, had just closed up here. Saw that deer come just about out of nowhere just as you were coming down the road. I’d say you hit the thing pretty damn hard, small miracle it ain’t break your windshield… but can I be honest with you?”

The lady leaned in. Her voice grew a bit more quiet, even though it was only the two of you in the sizable diner. “Never have I seen such a deer be hit square on by a car like that… get up and walk away. Moose, maybe. A bear. But that was…” She waved a hand around as she talked. “That was just some white tailed deer. Looked a little stunned, maybe. But those things don’t just get back on their feet and skip away. You gotta see it happen, sigh, and just call the cleanup guys the next day. But this… thing, got up, and just walked off.” The lady spoke, seeming completely certain of what she’d seen. Like it wasn’t that she was tired, having some lack-of-sleep hallucinations. The strong coffee scent in her breath showed that.

“I’m pretty damn sure, stranger, whatever it was you hit? Wasn’t a deer.”

Hello! I am a 21-year old male. My timezone is CET/UTC+1 but I work flexible hours so can acclimate easily enough to any prospecting partners; I should note that I am not a native English speaker, but I have been writing for long enough that my errors *should* be minimal. I am looking for a long-term roleplay partner who is patient, able to write 700-1000~ characters minimum per post, and is willing to conduct our OOC discussion and subsequent roleplay over discord. My goal is to collaborate on a greater narrative with somebody likeminded and dedicated; we should share mutual responsibility and communicate clearly, as such.

I do not mind delays between posts, but at minimum would like to aim for at least a few responses a week. More would be lovely, but I want patience, and will show patience.

As for themes, I am inexperienced when it comes to writing romance, but I am willing to give it a shot if our characters have appropriate chemistry. I am not very interested in simple, slice-of-life plots, and would prefer if we worked together on an overarching narrative, driven by our characters.

Recently, I have been very into sci-fi, and would love to come up with an original setting with you, should that strike your fancy. My interests include speculative evolution, xenofiction, conlanging, and more. But if you would prefer we go with something pre-established, below is a list of franchises that presently interest me, though do note I only write OCs:

- Fallout*

The isometric games and NV are my primary focus; I have not watched the show, but I do not dislike the Bethesda stuff. The West Coast has a lot of rich material to work with. My mind is always drawn to how Ulysses warned of the tunnelers levelling civilisation, making every previous effort and hard-fought triumph moot. A mindless animal does not make for a very compelling threat, so what if somebody sought to use them in some way? A new Master-like figure looking to wipe the slate clean and start anew?

- Mass Effect*

One thing I often think about is the fallout of the war against the Reapers; the Asari would be politically ruined, the Salarians would probably be quite well-off and able to pull strings to make themselves look good post-war, etc. The biggest loose end, though, are the Leviathans. They have not learned their lesson, and we could explore this. It was not a good idea to seek them out and draw their attention, as they have come to stake their claim on the only cycle to have survived their primordial mistake, one they are doomed to repeat. Our characters may be among the few who have the will and means to stop them. I have always wanted to write a Salarian STG agent.

My idea for a plot in the Mass Effect setting would be the above; our characters would be living in the galaxy post-Reaper invasion, and become aware of an old, impending threat, one that has not learned any lessons. Like Shepard, support for our characters would be limited and hard-fought, something perhaps unsurprising when they are up against mind-controlling titans.

Your character responds to the call of my character, who believes he has found credible evidence of this oncoming threat, but has been ignored and censored by his own government for reasons that, as they dig into the issue together, realise are because the crisis my character was attempting to expose has already begun, and in many places across the war-torn, crippled galaxy.

- Beastars*

Honestly, my biggest complaint about the manga would be the lack of worldbuilding. We know next to nothing about the history or culture of what seems to be an Earth-adjacent world. Why don't we expand on that together? I am fond of the concept of this setting and wanted to bring attention to it. A lot of potential plots.

- Fear and Hunger

A few years back, I pitched the idea of a grounded Star Wars plot to some friends of mine; our characters would have been nobodies, of no great power politically or in the force. For a variety of reasons, all of them would be deemed collaborators with subversive elements in the empire, and only narrowly escape the imminent purges and arrests by escaping Coruscant together in the middle of Order 66. If Star Wars interests you, I would love to revisit this plot outline, as it never got off the ground.

The initial premise was that my character was an alien professor of the University of Coruscant. Your character could perhaps be a colleague, or maybe even somebody more connected to the order itself that my character tries to help along.

- Look Outside*

I have always felt the game provided a lot of material for fan content, given it takes place in just one apartment complex. Our characters could be struggling to survive the full fifteen-days elsewhere in the world. Instead of an apartment, we could do just about anything; an office building, a hospital/hospice, a subway, etc. Like Beastars, no particular plot in mind, just wanted to draw attention to it because I like it a lot.

The Long Night we got in the show was incredibly unsatisfying. While people rightly adore the political side of things in the setting, I feel that GRRM is also excellent when it comes to handling magic. A plot taking place in the Far North during some other era of Westerosi history could be fun, a Long Night that triggers earlier and sweeps both of our characters up into it.

My character is a Maester of the citadel; a promising young acolyte who, against all odds, managed to light a glass candle and was sent to King's Landing to tend beneath the Grand Maester. Following his passing, my character assumes the role, still young and green. Your character is a member of the court, be it a member of the royal family or a servant.

- Elder Scrolls*

The Thalmor want to destroy material existence as we know it. Could be fun to work against (or with) them to achieve that goal far away from the backwater province that is Skyrim. The Alinor we got in ESO was pretty bland and disappointing.

- Other*

• Must be a male and play male characters as main (This is because of the romance included and also because I feel more comfortable roleplaying with males. I apologize. You may play female characters as side characters though!)

• Roleplayer must contribute semi-lit replies (2-5 sentences, up to a paragraph) (3rd person)

A lot of you who read this have been ghosted, ghosted yourselves or been frustrated with an rp partner at some point. A lacking of genuine communication and effort so low to the ground it's taken root.

Yes I've got rp ideas and genres I like to explore and do, like everybody but here's what I really want:

I want to get to know you and I want to invest in you as a person outside of our rp. I want you to take an interest in me and get to know me too. This just makes rping feel less like we're using each other purely for our entertainment and it feels more bonding and comforting.

I'm hoping to get a partner who will develop a pretty dang good connection with me. A person who would like their rps to actually stick for more than a week, never mind a month, and unlike in a lot of cases get past the first day of planning the rp before the other person loses interest.

I will not ghost you if you actually talk to me. That's that. I want to make things work and ideally, I don't want to have to come back to this reddit. Having multiple rps with the same person is really exciting for me so if you share the sentiment, read further.

__So here's the type of content I'm into: __

Romance: It's a huge feel-good thing that I love exploring and developing with my characters. I don't like bad ending romances so be warned, but a little enemy to lovers and the strife it takes to get to the lover's part? Uh, yes please. I just really like romance, whether it's fast pace and a little love at first sight and inexplainable attraction or if it's methodical and slow. I find both and other variations very rewarding.

Fantasy: Fantasy of just about any kind is pretty thrilling for me. Now i will say I also consider like fantastical ideas like superheros/mutants and some supernatural elements to be fantasy. Basically, anything that has elements that aren't realistic. There are maybe better terms but let's not be sticklers out here alright? Anyways I love this stuff because it really allows you to flavour a character in a pretty unique way, with cool powers and things that make them stand out. Things like, "How does this character's magic look? Why do they have this power and where does it stem from?" are showcases of areas of characters I enjoy writing.

Otherwise: I like a lot of things that have appeared on this subreddit, apocalypses and apocalyptic events come in many forms and it's dope to see how the world and it's denizens react to the strange and weird new world they are tossed into. Star Wars related rps are dope, I'm not a fan of playing canon character generally so keep that in mind however I have yet to find a partner to really do one. There are hundreds if not more ideas and genres and troupes we could take about, so if you have ideas already don't be shy and bring them forth and we'll figure out what we both can start with. I will of course give you my honest thoughts and feelings on everything because why wouldn't I?

I do not rp with minors, I am not comfortable doing so. We can discuss further stuff in DMs, where I prefer to talk over things like additional important information. I'll try to get to everyone, so please bring a little bit about yourself and lets discuss what we want and what we like. I will only be seeking one person to move on with but if our messages were good I might hit you up in the future because you never know what happens.

Mentioning DMs, I use discord to roleplay with, keeping an organised server for us both to use and deck out. I only roleplay with people near my age and over, I'm 26. So that's 23 to 40~. I have no reservations with rping with older ladies, so please don't worry about such trivial things if you are older than me.

I mustn't forget to add since for some people this is important. I typically write a solid 3 paragraphs, sometimes it's shorter, sometimes it's much longer than that but I'm pretty quick with the back and forth when I'm free to write. I'm detailed and descriptive. I'm not quite Novella level, and I only say that because I don't fully understand what it entails however I do not expect that sort of level of writing from others. Just be able to provide some details and give me at least 2 solid paragraphs on average and I will be very happy. More is welcome of course.

As for Plots:
I have an isekai one where both characters die in our world tragically, before moving over to a semi standard fantasy setting were your character or mine is bounded summon of belonging to the other, and have to develop coordination and teamwork to overcome this new strange and dangerous world.

I have a zombie Apoc idea that takes place in Kyoto japan during some time before 2010. I have a character in mind but with all my ideas we can discuss a lot and work things out.

I have a fantasy modern setting set in a world covered mostly in snow after the downfall of humanity prior after monsters made of fire born from humans went on rampages, the bastion city creates a speical force of fire fighters to defeat these monsters using special powers and weaponry (inspired by Fire Force if you've seen that, but that's sort of where the inspiration ends.) I have a lot of world setting info for this idea already made.

I have an Wuxia/Murim idea where a pair of martial arts try to make it big and become people of interest in the murim setting as their powers and martial arts grow. A lot of politics and set up required for this idea but it could be pretty interesting! If you've seen any Manwha series or the like I think you get the general ideas for what sort of story we could make together.

I also have a fantasy western idea that is if the early west had magic and powers as well as much of the political issues and violence. I've got some character ideas for this one already and I've got a firmer idea of what this setting looks like.

As you can tell, I'm full of ideas and settings of varying natures. Feel free to bring your own ideas

I like to do only two main characters (so mine and yours) but have no issue managing or being npcs or side characters as long as the focus remains on at least one of the main characters. That is if you do the same for me.

Muse A grew up an orphan and is just trying to live a normal life and start a family. Mysteriously they start losing their vision and the day they get their diagnosis of a degenerative optical disease they meet Muse B1. Muse B1 is a dream come true, theyre gentle and sweet, and doting. Six months later Muse A and Muse B1 are married and despite Muse A having to quit their career and become a stay at home spouse, they've never been happier. Two years later, Muse A's happy routine of domesticity with their working partner is ruined when Muse B1 doesn't come home. Muse A tries to report Muse B1 missing only to find out that there is no evidence of Muse B1 having ever existed. Over the next few months, Muse A keeps looking and keeps asking the police if they've found anything to no avail. However over this time, Muse A's vision also starts to return. They go so far as to hire a private investigation company, only to learn their entire apartment complex has been empty (aside from them) for the last two years. No record of their spouse having ever existed, and no records of their neighbors having ever existed either. The only lead they get is the name of a previous neighbors dog.. this lead ends up suggesting that Muse B1 was actually a black ops agent and their entire relationship, possibly even their blindness, was all orchestrated and with how great the lengths went to were to keep the job secret it's evident they hasve no hope of ever finding Muse B1. So with this idea Muse A goes full send the other direction and starts trying to make themself such a monumental threat that Muse B1 has to come back and target Muse A to neutralize them. On their quest to become a national threat, Muse A joins the private investigation company they previously hired, only to meet Muse B2, who is also a new hire of the company. Muse A doesn't know it, but Muse B2 is the new identity of Muse B1

Muse A goes so far as to bully their way onto the special forces team Muse B2 is leading now. Muse B2 meanwhile starts out trying to scare Muse A off because they only know the soft and timid spouse, but ends up slowly realizing that they actually really are in love with the psycho that's now showing their true colors and kicking ass as an agent

In the distant future, for one reason or another through being invited or volunteering you find yourself on the Starship Abeona.

Abeona is a sleeper ship that is set to transport 2,500 passengers to a new habitable planet to colonize it. Since the journey will take 120 years the passengers are put into special hibernation pods that will wake them up six months before they get to the destination. The ship is designed for and has resources to maintain 2,500 people comfortably for those six months as well as materials to help colonize their new home.

However when the Abeona goes through an asteroid field after 30 years into the journey the ship is damaged and some of the hibernation pods malfunction waking some of the passengers up 90 years too early. How will they cope knowing they woke up too soon? How damaged is the ship? What will be the fate of the 2,500 people on board?

I have a few plot ideas, but they are incredibly basic to allow for collaboration and creating a story both of us are genuinely going to enjoy.

Story One:
She’s spent her entire life knowing one thing: her brother’s best friend is completely off-limits. He’s practically family. He’s been around for years, which means they’ve had plenty of time to develop a mutual dislike for one another. She thinks he’s an arrogant pain in the ass, and he thinks she’s a spoiled good girl who has absolutely no idea what the real world is like. They bicker, push each other’s buttons and rarely manage to be in the same room without getting under each other’s skin. They’re your classic good girl x bad guy pairing. He has a less-than-conventional job, one that comes with its own risks. She isn’t entirely aware of what he does, but her brother does which means he would never approve. One night changes everything. What begins as something neither of them is supposed to want quickly becomes impossible to walk away from. They try to convince themselves it was a mistake. They try to go back to the way things were. But every attempt to stay away only seems to pull them closer together. They know exactly how much they have to lose and yet neither of them can seem to let go. Then she discovers she’s pregnant. Now their relationship is no longer just a secret between the two of them. They’re suddenly faced with a future neither of them planned for, and eventually, the truth has to come out.

Story Two:
She knew exactly who he was. Everyone did. He was the kind of man people lowered their voices when they spoke about. Powerful, feared and surrounded by rumours she had no business getting involved with. His name was enough to make people think twice, and she had spent her entire life knowing that men like him were the sort of men women like her stayed away from. So why was she waking up in his bed? One evening of recklessness turned into a one night stand with a man she shouldn’t have gone anywhere near. He wasn’t there when she woke, and left with the intention of never seeing him again. What should have been a meaningless night becomes increasingly complicated when she discovers she’s pregnant.

Story Three:
She owes him a favour. A pretty big one, actually. He helped her when she needed it most, never asking for anything in return. So when he eventually turns up at her door with a proposition, she can’t exactly say no. He needs a girlfriend. Not a real one, obviously. His family is beginning to suspect that his carefully constructed bachelor lifestyle isn’t exactly compatible with the future they’re expecting him to have. He needs someone convincing enough to accompany him to family events, dinners and social occasions, and he needs them to believe it’s real. She is the last person he’d normally ask. They’re complete opposites to each other, and she only asked him for a favour because she was desperate. They establish rules and agree not to make the agreement more complicated than it needs to be. Put on a face in public, ignore each other in private. Absolutely no sleeping with each other, or anyone else for the duration of the agreement. One night, they forgo this rule completely. They sleep together. They agree it was a mistake. To never talk about it again. Until she discovers she’s pregnant. Suddenly, the favour has become something neither of them can simply walk away from.

I do not write smut and all scenes will fade to black.

These are rough ideas. I am totally open to brainstorming and shaping things together!

I've been really wanting to share this story and I've written a fair amount of it and the world will expand as the story progresses and there's very few of us so there's plenty of room for new characters and story central characters and other creative minds to collaborate. Everyone is welcome to bring your creativity and your character ideas and stories to share as well. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

The story follows a few factions and their progression through the world. There is a school whose headmaster believes that there is something more than just the simple world they live in. There is a new group of followers who claim there is a new god helping them better than the old gods could. There are peace keepers that are often at odds with the mercenaries and all the while something festers and something is...wrong. Things are about to be revealed and true natures exposed.

What this story has to offer:

This is a mixture of OCs and CCs, set in a way where it's not quite a linear story, but more so like a baroque tapestry with a lot of things to focus on and see the beauty in. There are already some preliminary characters set up for you to *bump into* as the story goes on, but come one and all for those whom wish to write as a protagonist to fix this collapse, or as an antagonist whom wishes to see what happens when the scales continue to tip!

Addendum: There are presently 2 teams operating at this present point in time, all of which operate and act in their own way. Neither team is the A team, they each perform different tasks while butting heads from time to time. Presently given my current life schedule, I am in need of assistant DMs. Whether you have zero to no experience, all the way to having tons of experience in being a DM/GM, you're more than welcome to join. Just be ready as it is a bit of work with all that I've managed as this is a homebrew DnD-like, I'm going to be teaching you how to run it in the way I have it setup so that the players can continue to have fun.

Hey! I'm 26F in EST, I'm looking for a new partner to get lost in a story with! I'm looking for one of several things, none of which I really have a full plot designed for, so I'm open to any amount of world building, character building, plotting, and etc as we need.

-Survivors in an apocalypse. This could be zombies (standard, slow moving zombies or the kind from any game or TV show you like) or vampires, demons, whatever.

-Medieval fantasy. I have an idea for an untrained witch character, maybe we can explore that a bit more

-Futuristic Cyberpunk. I like the idea of playing someone who died years ago, whose consciousness has somehow been replicated or summoned into an android body in the distant future.

-Superheroes. The both of us as heroes, or maybe heroxvillain. I don't care if your oc is almost identical to an established hero, copyright laws don't apply to us here.

-Cozy autumn romance vibes. Something in a similar vein as Stardew Valley or Gilmore Girls. Not necessarily laden with world-ending threats or crazy magic (although we can do that tbh if you want) but more romance and relationship focused in a small town.

-I'm also open to experiment with anything Zelda or Pokemon themed. Very popular IPs so I know it's not obscure or unique to love them, but love them I do, and I've never done an RP in the world of either. So in that regard I'm open to experiment, if you are.

Some of what I'm looking for in a partner:

-20+ please.

-No simple and lazy one-liners. I usually write adv lit, about 3-5 paragraphs per reply depending on how intense the scene or story is at the moment. This can vary and that's alright, but if you like to reply with two sentences on average we will not be compatible.

-Someone who is around frequently for ooc. I'm annoying as fuck, I'll be the first to tell you that, and I like to just yap. About our characters, about the story, about music our characters would like. About a movie I watched or breakfast. Doesn't really matter. Good luck getting me to shut up. If this bothers you or you're not interested in ooc conversation, we may not be compatible.

-i'm also looking for someone who will be around to send a reply once a day, or once every few days at minimum. I'm pretty good about getting one out per day, maybe more if the story is absolutely banging.

-Must be okay with using discord. That's just my main platform.

Kamya sat at the mahogany desk in her penthouse, nursing a glass of scotch. She hated the vulnerability of it. She despised men—their entitlement, their hunger, their fragile egos. She wouldn't survive another predator in her bed or boardroom.

The knock on her study door was soft, measured.

"Come in, Rahul," she said, her voice a low, gravelly rasp.

The door clicked open, and her personal assistant of five years stepped inside. Rahul was thirty-two, perpetually impeccably dressed in a tailored charcoal suit, his dark hair neatly parted. He had a quiet, almost monastic discipline. For five years, he had managed her chaos, anticipated her needs, and absorbed her sharpest rebukes without a flinch.

He stopped a respectful distance from the desk, hands clasped behind his back. "You wanted to see me, ma'am?"

Kamya took a slow sip of her scotch, her sharp, dark eyes studying him. She didn't beat around the bush. Years of survival had stripped away her patience for preamble.

"My late husband’s family is trying to steal this empire, Rahul. You know the trust clause."

Rahul nodded gravely. "I reviewed it, ma'am. Their legal footing is shaky, but it’s aggressive. They’ll tie us up in court for years."

"Unless I marry," Kamya stated. She watched him closely, looking for a flicker of surprise, a greedy glint, anything. There was nothing. Just a quiet, attentive stillness.

"I see," Rahul murmured. "Have you... chosen someone? I can facilitate the background checks immediately."

"I have chosen you."

For the first time since she had known him, Rahul’s composure cracked. His eyes widened slightly, and a faint breath escaped his lips. "Me, ma'am?"

"Don't look so horrified," she said , "Hear me out. I need a husband on paper. Someone those hyenas can't bribe,and someone smart enough to sign a post nuptial agreement that leaves him with a very generous payout when this blows over, and zero claim to my company."

Rahul stared at her, processing the absurdity of the proposition. Marrying Kamya Roy—his formidable, queen boss, a woman twenty years his senior, a woman universally feared in the corporate world. 

Rahul swallowed hard, stepping forward. "It is... highly unorthodox."

"It's a business transaction," Kamya corrected sharply, rising to her feet. "A marriage of convenience. No domestic expectations. You keep your office, I keep mine. We play the devoted newlyweds for the board for a year or two, and then we quietly dissolve it. But I need to know I can trust you. Can I?"

Rahul met her gaze, his expression steadying into one of absolute reliability. "You have always been able to trust me, madam."

The wedding was a quiet, agonizingly private affair at a municipal registry office, attended only by a furious legal team representing her late husband’s family, watching with venomous eyes as the ink dried on the certificate.

That evening, Rahul moved a single suitcase into the guest wing of Kamya’s penthouse.
