That’s the message we need to repeat.

Early voting opened yesterday in my state, and I just cast my ballot.

I'd consider myself broadly center-right, and I'm probably more conservative than the vast majority of people in this community. I've followed Destiny pretty closely since 2020 because I appreciate his thought process, even when I disagree with his conclusions.

I've never voted for Trump, but historically, I've voted a mixed ballot that usually leans more red than blue. In fact, I've voted third party in every presidential election since 2016. Looking back, I regret not voting for Hillary in 2016, Biden in 2020, and Kamala in 2024.

At this point, my reasoning is pretty simple: one party is actively trying to dismantle my country, and the other isn't. Even if Democrats don't align with my preferred political positions on many issues, the choice couldn't be clearer.

I voted straight blue this year, and barring some extraordinary change, I intend to vote for a Democratic presidential candidate in 2028 for the first time in my life.

I genuinely hope that in a decade or two, I can go back to worrying about which major party best represents my political views rather than which one is trying to dismantle our democracy and undermine the international order. Until then, I'll keep voting straight Democrat, election after election.

This traitorous sack of 💩 won’t stop until the pressure is increased on his lover Putin. The simplest way to stop this nonsense is just increase the sanctions on Putin and any country or entity that deals with him and declare that the funds will be used to fund Ukraines military purchases as well as reconstruction and slowly make it impossible to recover any of them over time the longer he prolongs this war. Also other NATO countries should unilaterally invite Ukraine in and declare that Ukraine will be part of NATO 2.0 after the war is over.

Lefties always argued that I/P deserved more attention because the US government was funding Israel, making it complicit, while Ukraine was already getting Western support and russia was being sanctioned.

So now that the US government is actively helping russia murder Ukrainian civilians and subjugate Ukraine, surely we’ll see the same outrage and activism, right?
