Adam Rubin, author of Dragons Love Tacos, is the co-owner of Art of Play (the store that pulled a Pretty Woman on Kelly Clarkson). I saw a clip of him defending the shop but the connection didn’t click for me until now. 🤯

I listen to Baby Beluga more often than the average adult, and I could have sworn that the lyrics were "goodnight baby goodnight" when the moon is shining and the stars are out. But within the last couple days, the Spotify version has changed to "goodnight little whale goodnight".

Can anyone corroborate this, or did I always mishear it until this week?

We are finally off our year-long Mouse a Cookie kick and so we tried Clifford. We’re watching and I’m like wow this is not like how I remember. Turns out, there’s newer ones. After a little searching I found the older ones and they’re just as quaint as I remember. Crisis averted. Now I just need to prepare to watch ONLY Clifford for approximately one year.

especially one that serves spicy food, as someone who its a russian roulette if i'll have a IBS flare up on something I ate or hell, needing to pee after drinking too many refreshments waiting for my food I could not imagine sitting there, thinking about that they have no bathroom and then not have my body suddenly decide i need to go.

Anna obviously says yes which plays perfectly into his plans to take the throne and we see he isn't above regicide when he tries to end the royal bloodline multiple times. When he proposes they happen to be on a very picturesque and romantic waterfall... which is near a very high and precarious cliff ledge...

I believe if Anna said no he would have pushed her to her death and tried to marry Elsa.

One of my favourite books when I was little was “Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb,” and I was lucky enough to read the hardcover before I read the board book. My favourite part of that book was the “Hello, Jack, hello, Jake” part. You can imagine my shock when I read the board book and that part was completely removed.

I also had the board book edition of “Dr. Seuss’s ABC”. In that version, each section begins with “Big [letter], little [letter], what begins with [letter]?” I was amazed when I first read the hardcover, which has a lot more variety. For example, the entry for O is “O is very useful. You use it when you say, Oscar’s only ostrich oiled an orange owl today.” The entry for X also uses words that end with X and therefore use the “ks” sound that is usually associated with X, while the board book uses “X-ray” and “xylophone”.

These are just two examples, but in general the hardcovers are just so much more fun to read.

Every night my toddler asks me to read A Haunted Ghost Tour in my Town. It is cute. We point out each characters costume. BUT WHAT IS THIS RACCOON?! My toddler says it’s French fries but I am not convinced. It is driving me insane

full special is on YT btw

I got a warning saying the poster might be AI generated but it's an official render that PBS is using so 😭
