I'm working on the Dimensions kit Regal Tiger, just starting back stitching. I'm not a fan of back stitching, especially when it calls for two threads, mine always look clunky and I don't like how it looks disjointed on something that's supposed to be smooth, like tiger hair!
So when the pattern called for back stitching, I go square by square. Normally this works pretty well, but because this is a tiger, the back stitching colors are very close to the full X's, and it's really hard to pick up (see the yellow and blue circles, the back stitching doesn't even stand out).
I finished the back stitching for the ear, and moved on to the couching. I really like it, it's smooth, not as clunky as typical back stitching (see the white circle).
Now I'm in my head and debating weather or not to switch the blue and yellow back stitches I already did to couching. If I'm going to do it, how's the time since I just started.
Thoughts? I know I'm probably over thinking it! Thank you for any thoughts abs advice!
