Hey everyone,

I stream modded RPG and sandbox games on YouTube (around 700 subs). I do purely improvised commentary and live gameplay rather than scripted videos, and I am looking for someone who wants to take that raw footage and turn it into simple highlights or Shorts.

You do not need an established portfolio, prior experience, or fancy editing skills. If you are just starting out and want footage to practice on, that works for me. The edits can be as basic as simple jump-cuts and text, or you can go wild with memes and zooms if you want to experiment.

There is zero schedule, no minimum quota, and absolutely no deadlines, so you can work purely at your own pace. You get full creative control over what you make, full credit and links to your socials or portfolio on every upload, and once the channel hits monetization, we will split any ad revenue from the videos you worked on 50/50.

Also, I have a link to my channel on my profile, I have some edited content if you would like to get a feel for my style/type of comedy

If you are interested in messing around with some chaotic gaming clips, send me a DM or drop a comment!

I am going to bed, though, so I will respond in the morning!

Hey! I'm learning video editing on DaVinci Resolve and want to get some actual practicee

If anyone has footage they want edited, I'd love to give it a shot for free.

I'm still learning, so please don't expect anything professional or mind-blowing lol. I just want to practice, experiment, and get honest feedback on my work.

No payment needed. Just your footage, you telling me what you want and some feedback would be more than enough!

UPDATE — Oct 15: A first editor's trial is now underway. This post stays up because a second seat may open later — but trials run one at a time, and every editor starts the same way: show your work in this thread first.

Small Gran Turismo 7 channel coming back from a break, looking for an editor who wants real racing content for their portfolio.

The job: race highlight videos, around 15 minutes finished. I supply the raw gameplay footage, the written commentary script, the finished commentary voiceover track, and a timestamp guide of what happens where. Your work is the assembly — cuts, camera moments, clean pacing to the commentary.

What I offer: full credit in every description, a testimonial, portfolio use of the finished videos, and a revenue share if and when the channel monetizes. No pay right now — I won't pretend otherwise.

Ground rules: it starts with one short trial edit so we can both see if it's a fit. Trial footage is watermarked — nothing personal, that's just how I protect unreleased videos until trust is built. You'd never need my channel login — footage comes to you as files, finished videos come back as files.

If you're building experience and like racing games, I'd love to see a link to anything you've edited.

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m looking for a creative and reliable video editor for my german gaming YouTube channel. I’d love to find someone who wants to work with me long-term and help grow the channel together!
🎮 Content & Editing
Games: Various games
Raw footage: Approximately 1–2 hours per video
Final video length: Around 10–20 minutes
Upload schedule: One long-form video per week
Shorts: 2–3 YouTube Shorts from each video
Editing style: Fast-paced, funny, entertaining gaming edits
Subtitles: German subtitles are only needed during the introduction/greeting, not throughout the entire video
Effects: Memes, sound effects, zooms, transitions, and other creative editing techniques where appropriate
Software: I’m open to any editing software. Adobe Premiere Pro is welcome, but it’s not required.
Deadline: Ideally, each video should be completed within one week
I’m looking for someone with a good sense of humor who understands gaming content and knows how to keep viewers entertained.
💰 Compensation & Revenue Sharing
At the moment, I cannot offer upfront payment because my channel is not monetized yet.
However, I want to build a long-term partnership. Once the channel becomes monetized and generates YouTube revenue, the editor will receive 60% of the agreed YouTube revenue, while I receive the remaining 40%.
Before starting, we will discuss the details and put the agreement in writing, including how revenue is calculated and paid.
Please only apply if you’re comfortable with the initial unpaid period and the proposed revenue-sharing arrangement.
📁 Requirements
A portfolio showing examples of your previous editing work
Ability to edit German-language gaming content
Reliability and good communication
Willingness to work together long-term
Openness to feedback and creative ideas
🧪 Trial Video
We’ll start with one trial video to see whether our editing styles and expectations match before committing to a long-term collaboration.
📩 How to Apply
Please send me:
Your editing portfolio or examples of previous work
A short introduction about yourself
Which editing software you use
How long you would need to edit one video
Confirmation that you’re comfortable with the proposed arrangement
I’m looking for someone who wants to help build a gaming channel from the ground up and grow together!
Interested? Feel free to DM me! 🚀
