Hey! I'm looking for a long-term editor for my Overwatch YouTube channel.

I'll provide around 2–3 hours of stream footage. I'd like you to find the funniest moments and turn them into:

• One 10–15 minute YouTube video
• 2–3 YouTube Shorts (vertical format)
• Basic memes, zooms, sound effects, and funny cuts

My starting budget is $20 per stream, including the full video and Shorts.

I'm hoping to upload regularly, so there could be consistent work if everything goes well.

Would you be interested? Feel free to send some examples of your work!

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m looking for a creative and reliable video editor for my german gaming YouTube channel. I’d love to find someone who wants to work with me long-term and help grow the channel together!
🎮 Content & Editing
Games: Various games
Raw footage: Approximately 1–2 hours per video
Final video length: Around 10–20 minutes
Upload schedule: One long-form video per week
Shorts: 2–3 YouTube Shorts from each video
Editing style: Fast-paced, funny, entertaining gaming edits
Subtitles: German subtitles are only needed during the introduction/greeting, not throughout the entire video
Effects: Memes, sound effects, zooms, transitions, and other creative editing techniques where appropriate
Software: I’m open to any editing software. Adobe Premiere Pro is welcome, but it’s not required.
Deadline: Ideally, each video should be completed within one week
I’m looking for someone with a good sense of humor who understands gaming content and knows how to keep viewers entertained.
💰 Compensation & Revenue Sharing
At the moment, I cannot offer upfront payment because my channel is not monetized yet.
However, I want to build a long-term partnership. Once the channel becomes monetized and generates YouTube revenue, the editor will receive 60% of the agreed YouTube revenue, while I receive the remaining 40%.
Before starting, we will discuss the details and put the agreement in writing, including how revenue is calculated and paid.
Please only apply if you’re comfortable with the initial unpaid period and the proposed revenue-sharing arrangement.
📁 Requirements
A portfolio showing examples of your previous editing work
Ability to edit German-language gaming content
Reliability and good communication
Willingness to work together long-term
Openness to feedback and creative ideas
🧪 Trial Video
We’ll start with one trial video to see whether our editing styles and expectations match before committing to a long-term collaboration.
📩 How to Apply
Please send me:
Your editing portfolio or examples of previous work
A short introduction about yourself
Which editing software you use
How long you would need to edit one video
Confirmation that you’re comfortable with the proposed arrangement
I’m looking for someone who wants to help build a gaming channel from the ground up and grow together!
Interested? Feel free to DM me! 🚀

UPDATE — Oct 15: A first editor's trial is now underway. This post stays up because a second seat may open later — but trials run one at a time, and every editor starts the same way: show your work in this thread first.

Small Gran Turismo 7 channel coming back from a break, looking for an editor who wants real racing content for their portfolio.

The job: race highlight videos, around 15 minutes finished. I supply the raw gameplay footage, the written commentary script, the finished commentary voiceover track, and a timestamp guide of what happens where. Your work is the assembly — cuts, camera moments, clean pacing to the commentary.

What I offer: full credit in every description, a testimonial, portfolio use of the finished videos, and a revenue share if and when the channel monetizes. No pay right now — I won't pretend otherwise.

Ground rules: it starts with one short trial edit so we can both see if it's a fit. Trial footage is watermarked — nothing personal, that's just how I protect unreleased videos until trust is built. You'd never need my channel login — footage comes to you as files, finished videos come back as files.

If you're building experience and like racing games, I'd love to see a link to anything you've edited.

Hey everyone!

I'm a small lifestyle YouTuber looking to connect with a beginner video editor who's interested in building their portfolio and growing creatively together!

A little about me: I split my time between London, Paris and Sweden, so there's always somewhere new to explore! I work in law, but outside of that I love fashion, makeup, travelling, going out and documenting everyday life. My vlogs are a mix of city adventures, beauty and outfit try-ons, coffee runs, studying sessions, friendships and all the little things in between.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys storytelling, has a good sense of humour and can bring personality to lifestyle vlogs through fun, engaging edits.

Ideally, you're a film/media student, self-taught editor or someone just starting out who wants to gain experience and build a portfolio.

A little transparency: I'm still growing my channel, so my budget is very limited at the moment. I'd love to connect with someone who's open to a small, flexible portfolio collaboration or offers very affordable beginner rates. You'd be credited for your work and welcome to use the finished videos in your portfolio, with the hope of developing an ongoing paid collaboration as the channel grows.

No professional experience necessary!

If you're interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself, examples of your work (personal projects are absolutely fine!) and any rates you might have.

Looking forward to connecting! 🤍
