Ashley Losey, who is accused of being a part of a long and bitter neighbor dispute, fed her neighbor's cat to her dogs. The neighbor, Lindsey Hodges-Hough, tells KRDO13 that the arguments between her and Losey began four years ago, causing her to put cameras around her house.
Hodges-Hough says her 15-year-old son's cat, Toby, was outside. Losey is seen on surveillance tossing Toby to her dogs in the backyard.

I’ve been getting 3-4 flyers a week from Crank, even though I no longer live in The Springs. We moved in July and cancelled our voter registrations mid-July, but he keeps sending them, regardless.
The flyers aren’t being forwarded, either. These are actually addressed to our house.

The Broadmoor CEO sent an email to all employees asking them to reference the Gazette’s voter guide when voting this year. The Gazette and the Broadmoor are both owned by conservative billionaire Phil Anschutz:

It's that time of year: unscrew your hose from the outside spigot to avoid a burst pipe

The email from the manager to the employees quoted in the article is so paternalistic and smarmy. Basically telling their employees that the ballot measures are too complicated for them to understand so they should follow the Anschutz owned voting guide.
"The voting guide is from the Gazette’s notoriously conservative editorial board, which includes Anschutz’s son, Christian. The guide recommends voting “yes” on all eight of the initiatives backed by Advance Colorado, the conservative dark money group backed by Anschutz. The guide recommends a “no” vote for the majority of the tax measures, including Amendment 87, the progressive income tax, which has been opposed by much of Colorado’s wealthy elite, including ostensibly Democratic Governor Jared Polis. The guide also opposes Proposition NN, which would use TABOR refund money for public school funding, and Proposition 137, which would use TABOR money for conservation, and Ballot Issue 7A, passenger rail."

Enter the Dream.
Athens, Ohio. 2012. Summer is hot, the music is loud, and just beyond this Appalachian town, the festival is already getting wild.
In this seductive adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare’s classic comedy collides with the electric, anything-goes culture of 2000s contemporary music festivals. Producers hold the power. Contracts control careers. And Hermia, a rising singer, refuses to let anyone own her voice – or her future.
Out beyond the lights, the festival becomes something stranger: intoxicating, chaotic, euphoric. Music pulses through the night. Desire takes over. Boundaries blur. The rules of the everyday world begin to dissolve.
But these woods have their own history. The land remembers. The cryptids and fae that roam these ancient forests are not just magical creatures – they are stewards and witnesses. And every beautiful dream has a price.

Hi! I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. I was curious about the best places to shop for gluten free foods in the springs? Also, if you’re celiac, what restaurants have you found that are celiac safe?
Thanks guys!

Hi everyone, I’m 21 and I’m currently studying for the Learner Permit. However, the DMV website only seems to provide a 36-page PDF Driver Handbook and the information there doesn’t seem to be very comprehensive and completely.
So, my question:
- Does any of us have any experience with a DMV permit test learning app and could recommend me one with good price and good practices?
- Do you recommend me to go to driving school to learn for the permit test?
- How do people usually studying for the permit test?
Thanks in advance!

I’m a renter in an older (early 1900s) ~900 sq ft house. I’m planning to cover the windows with that plastic wrap that you blow dry to seal, and will be using rope caulk for any other cracks in doorways/floorboards. The home has baseboard heaters, which I turned on for the first time today; however, I haven’t been able to get the house above 64 degrees even with the baseboard heater temp set at its max (90 degrees). The baseboards are located throughout the house, primarily on the east side. There is only one thermostat so I don’t have control over which baseboards I turn on - it’s all or nothing. It’s been running for several hours now. I’m a little worried about having an enormous electric bill when it gets colder, just to have the house barely comfortable…would space heaters throughout the house be more efficient/better bang for my buck?

Hi! I am looking for a place to watch El Classico on Oct 25. It's on ESPN+ and on a Sunday so I am assuming a lot of sports bars will have NFL games on. Anyone know a place that would show it?
Also, to my La Liga/Champions League/European Leagues football fans, want to be friends??? Not enough of us here. :-)

Seriously, almost no restrictions. I just want to hang out with my wife!
Edit: Thank you all so much for the great suggestions and birthday wishes! The past couple of years, celebrating my birthday has been difficult cause planning and then major decision fatigue so I appreciate every comment. I know I'll enjoy anything I get to do with my wife so I just need to keep that in mind at the end of the day!

I’m looking into MasterDrive Driving Academy and they seem reasonable. I searched this sub and found recommendations for it from 6 or 7 years ago. Checking to see if it is still good?
Thanks

What's with the low flying aircraft today? I know I should be used to it living in military town but I thought they were going to crash into my house. I live on the Westside.
