I recently interviewed filmmaker Olivier Megaton.

We discussed his career directing Taken 2, Taken 3, Transporter 3, and Colombiana, along with his experiences in Hollywood, creative challenges, and approach to action filmmaking.

I thought the community might enjoy hearing directly from Olivier; I grew up watching his films, and they remain some of my favorite action movies to this day.

Proposing this as the Barbenheimer of 2026 and not Dunesday or whatever

You Can See Everything + Street Fighter + Whalefall + Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother

An entire day at the movies. What do y’all want to see first? I’m thinking Whalefall first and then Your Mother, then You Can See Everything, and then wash it all down with the dumb fun of Street Fighter.

It’s a great weekend at the movies.
