I'd love to play you a little something from an opera that I've been writing. It's-- It's based on the Old Testament. It combines the brooding intensity of Mahler with the pesky insouciance of Poulenc, and it goes something like this.

In some episode, Joel Polis plays Gary. But in others, Robert Desiderio does. Why is this? Why didn't they just stick with Joel Polis since he played Gary first?
