I just saw this reel on the Karnataka RTO Instagram handle and also saw this on the road today.

Outside-state vehicles are being seized, and owners are being asked to pay road tax plus a penalty. If they have crossed the 12months grace period.

FYI, the tax for my 9.5-year-old car, which had a 9 lakh ex-showroom price, is roughly 70k plus agent charges and extra bribes.

Please note they're targeting low value cars as well...in that reel I saw Ecosport,WRV. It's so terrible that the resale value of these cars will be 3 lakh and they must have definitely paid 1lakh in total

Jus bought 3xo automatic, but everytime I get out in city and nearby, my body automatically takes me to our old wagonR. Coz driving old small car is so stress free and fun that brain always say pick wagonR and go. How come are you dealing with this specially those who bought a new car and still has old small one. something similar i observed with my neighbour, they bought big bulky harrior 3 months back and still every day drives their old wagonR, harrier is a weekend thing now.

Noida has installed tyre killers to stop wrong way driving. I think this is great but 2 concerns. One is maintenance. If trash gets stuck in it or its not lubed regularly it can get stuck even for right side and second thieves may steal them for scrap iron.

I sold my 15 year old Vento 1.6 MPI this year and had clocked nearly 3L kms on it. Now, i am looking to buy a new car but i am torn between the Skoda Slavia - a sedan with proper german performance and the Xev9s - 7 seater electric suv with tons of features with claimed range of 520kms going up to 680kms. Considering, charging infrastructure, real world range and etc. is it convenient to own an EV as the only car in your garage ?

Altroz ,,nexon and baleno are prime examples. They resembled their concept versions and were really beautiful now the facelift is like a jaggered edge with smooth body from side and back. It clashes with the design so badly. In a way I am happy honda didn't massively updated the elevate because it's perfect. Updates are ruining car personality.
