Flames lose to the Ducks 4-2 and are 0-5 to start the season for the first time in franchise history.

Tough one for the boys but they were in it till the end and Suniev got his first NHL goal which is pretty cool. Next game is against the Ducks again, good opportunity for a little redemption.

Next Game: October 13 @ Anaheim @ 7:45 PM MDT

I've just always found it kind of weird how team mascots are left off of hockey cards in general, and furthermore I think EBUG Tito would do numbers on the trading card market

Honestly, neither may ever win again 😅 but at least the Flames are lovable.

Well thats about the flamesiest of games that could have flamed.

Looked good.

Like. Actually.. good.

Then bam.

And bam again.

Can we get a bounce our way.. like.. once? CONGRATS TO OUR BOY SUNIEV. but lawrd almighty. Really missing that high end talent.

Guess what? We get to do it all again Tuesday against the same ducks.

745 pm. Because that start time makes sense.

So apparently the pregame thread got removed by accident ^{by me. Fuck}, so that's always cool Drop your drinking game rules and ill try to update it as the game goes.

Just did two haunted houses at cobbs adventure park. My fingers are frozen. I had a bunch of drama Kids in costume scream at me but HAVING A GOOD TIME

There's alot to be excited for as a Flames fan. It's just going to take some time and patience.

This is how calgary's prospects produced tonight :

Reschny 2g

Iginla 2g

Wyttenbach 1g 1a

Laylin 1g 1a

Hextall 1g

Potter 1g

Katolicky 1g

Stromgren 1a

Brzustewicz 1a

Harrington 1a

If I'm missing anything let me know and I'll add it.

Wyttenbach putting up 2 points per game in the ncaa so far. Get hyped about pur prospects. Carels, Reschny, Potter and Hextall are starting their regular season today as well, playing top of the lineup roles in the NCAA.

I just came across an old ticket of mine. It’s a great memory of the Saddledome and Johnny. I got flown into town as a total birthday surprise to go see the Flames vs Bruins with my brothers, and it ended up being fantastic. Boston went up 4-3 on a Marchand penalty shot with about a minute left, Hudler tied it with 2 seconds to go, and then Gaudreau scored in OT to win it 5-4. That was his first hat trick at home.
I’ve have never been in a louder cheering arena. We were leaping and hugging everyone. What an amazing memory. RIP Johnny.
We're coming back over Christmas and get one last game vs San Jose. This time I'm bringing my son.
Sure miss having these physical tickets.

Flames lose to the Avalanche 7-3

Scoring three goals is objectively better than scoring one, Klapka had a nice toe drag and some big hits and the Penalty Kill looks pretty competent.
