Mod Team Announcement š£ New Post Fairs and User Flairs Are Now Live !!!
Hello everybody, last week we had a post asking for more specific post flairs! We have taken all of your feedback into consideration and added many options. Other users would love if you selected a more specific post flair so they can use your posts as inspiration for their outfits in the future!
Furthermore, we have added occupation-specific User Flairs!
You can custom-make your own user flair, but it must be occupation-specific and NOT include:
- Specific Age (NOT allowed)
- Gender (NOT allowed)
- Sexual orientation (NOT allowed)
You MAY put your occupation and what level of your career you are in. Do you have any other suggestions or feel like we omitted something that should be there? Feel free to comment it!

Fashion question Finance Role, Advice Needed!
Hi everyone! Iām in my 20s, just graduated college and am in my second month at my first job. I am working in finance and was told that while my outfits are appropriate, they arenāt āpolishedā. I wasnāt given much advice or context other than that. The only other woman in my office exclusively wears skirts and dresses, and I donāt feel comfortable wearing that so thatās not a great place for me to get inspiration from for outfits.
What do you think is wrong with what Iām currently wearing to wear and how can I fix it? Thank you!
PS. I also just moved to the Midwest from the south so any advice on how to dress to the office in the cold months would be greatly appreciated
I also apologize for the lack of full length mirror pictures. Iām yet to buy one since moving!

Fashion question Cocktail Attire for Work Event?
I have a work event coming up, and they let us know that itās ācocktail attireā.
I have a whole bunch of cocktail dresses but a majority/all arenāt really work appropriate. I ordered this dress in a panic, do yall think itās work appropriate? I keep getting mixed signals from other posts, but this feels a little different since itās a āsnazzyā work event. My workplace is a bit conservative though.
Thoughts?
Note: not the biggest fan of how big the arm holes are, I might try to get them tailored if it becomes an issue.

Fashion question Second option before going to the store. Business Casual!
This outfit is for a job fair. I do not own a pair of dress pants, only an assortment of skirts. Although jean material, I think this is the best outfit that I could put together to be business casual. This will be my last option before going to the store tomorrow morning to buy some pants.
Also, Iām sorry if it is difficult to see the skirt, I tried color correcting the image to make it less dark but this was the best I could do.

Couldn't decide shoes so I brought both to work but I'm wearing the nude shoes since I've worn black heels all week.

Need good quality comfortable leather/suede boots
I work in an interior design center and am walking around a 110,000 square foot showroom all day. I average about 14,000-17,000 steps 5 days a week. My workplace is very fashion-forward and the only real rules are that our outfits can't be too revealing or too casual. I'm looking for a good pair of ankle/mid rise boots that don't have too high or too thin of a heel. Think flat-2". I wear a lot of wide leg jeans, so slightly pointed toe or square toe is preferable. I won't be wearing them every single day, but I want them comfortable and durable enough to walk all day in them at least 2-3x a week in the winter. Preferably under $300 but can go a little more if necessary.
