Age/date request Looking for help dating and understanding the history of this bottle I found in the mud in a uk forest. It’s 6inches tall (it’s a smaller one) but has embossed markings that people might know how to read.
galleryHey everyone. Thank you all so much for giving this a look as I know that the marking and numbers on the bottom are supposed to show manufacturing info or batch info but I’m so consumed how to read it and which cluster of number and letters mean what. I have no idea what this bottle could have been used for and I’d love any info. I tried to get pics of the number that was on one side of the bottom edge and then the letters with a weird symbol on the other side. Super grateful for any insight! Oh btw it’s a weirdly short and small bottle it’s only 6inches tall.
On one side I can make out a B then 78 S (then a weird symbol I don’t understand maybe a makers mark?) then the number 32.
Then the other side I’m guessing is the batch number but please correct me if I’m wrong, it’s 2118 I think.
Even any advice or teachings how to read and understand these in the future would be wonderful!
