Anime / Fanart Naruto's Baryon Mode (Super Saiyan 4 inspired fanart)
I never liked Naruto's Baryon Mode, I think we could have gotten a more fox-like form as his last Kurama transformation.
In the past, Kurama used to give his chakra before, now since he was departing, he literally fuses with Naruto to give him all of his power.
I took inspiration from Super Saiyan 4 Goku from Dragon Ball GT for this design.
What do you guys think?

Manga Spoilers / Discussion I honestly hope Momoshiki doesn’t turn good; I don’t want to see Momoshiki and Boruto become friends—like what happened with Naruto and Kurama—because that would be too repetitive. Spoiler
Momoshiki must remain a villain until the end.

Manga Spoilers / Discussion Am I the only one who doesn't like Sarada being a love interest for Boruto? Spoiler
I didn't want them to have that kind of relationship, I fully agree with Boruto being her shadow Hokage and helping her but I honestly hate the romantic aspect that was added.
I wanted them to be a cool friendship duo that were really close but never more than that. I am not a Borusumi fan, this has nothing to do with an agenda, I'm just sharing my honest opinion.

Manga Spoilers / Discussion Naruto and Hinata chapter 38 and beyond Spoiler
I wanna hear your thoughts on this. I wanna assume Naruto and Hinata haven't been effected by the mind control/perception alteration that effected everyone else.
So part of me wonders, is it possible that as soon as they're freed, they're gonna catatonic for a while but then after some recovery, find out what's happened, perhaps even being furious? Or do you think they as soon as they get freed, they're back to where they left off and they're gonna be shocked about how much time has changed and what happened to Boruto.
In fact, let's say the perception alteration is undone, everyone sees Boruto as an ally again, Kawakii is enemy number 1 or at some point, AT LEAST viewed as a suspecting ally, and he let's Naruto and Hinatta out of the dimension he kept them in, and they're tired but regain consciousness....how angry/forgiving do you think they will be?
Personally, I feel like in canon/in the story, Naruto will be furious at Kawakii and hell, even though it's not the village's fault really, might hold some annoyance and anger for the hidden leaf, but ultimately, Naruto is too grown and too forgiving of a person to hold a grudge. So much to everyone's begrudging, I can see 2 possibilities.
Naruto, despite his grievance with Kawakii lying, betraying Boruto and trying to kill him again, he'll probably still forgive him and try to welcome him back, but Kawakii with immeasurable guilt, can't go back and refuses.
Kawaki ends up dying near the end of the series, and he releases Naruto and Hinata, as a last act of kindness or an attempt to make up for what he did, and doesn't want Boruto making up any excuses for him.
What do you think will happen?

Manga Spoilers / Discussion WHAT IF BORUTO'S LOVE INTEREST WAS AN ŌTSUTSUKI PRINCESS? Spoiler
gallery
I came across a post discussing how Boruto might live much longer than ordinary humans because he is now 100% Ōtsutsuki biologically, and it got me thinking about an interesting hypothetical possibility.
We know that Boruto has become a complete Ōtsutsuki in terms of his biology, following the events involving Karma and Momoshiki. Despite this, he still retains his human appearance, carrying the physical traits he inherited from Naruto and Hinata.
But what if this were precisely what made his future so interesting?
If Boruto really does have a much longer lifespan than ordinary humans, wouldn't it be interesting to imagine his future wife being an Ōtsutsuki as well?
Just think about it: hypothetically, what if Boruto's love interest were an Ōtsutsuki princess? A girl with a calm, gentle, kind, and understanding personality, someone who could see beyond his human appearance and truly understand his nature.
I'm not saying this needs to happen in canon, but I think it's an interesting possibility to explore.
After all, if Boruto ends up living for centuries or even longer, while his human partner has a very different life expectancy, that could create a complicated situation for them emotionally. It wouldn't necessarily make a relationship between them impossible, but the difference in their lifespans could have significant consequences for their future together.
That's why I find the idea of an Ōtsutsuki partner for Boruto so interesting. Someone who could share not only his biological nature but also a potentially much longer existence.
And this wouldn't mean Boruto would have to abandon his human roots or stop being Naruto's son. His appearance, values, memories, and personality would still be part of who he is.
In fact, it would be interesting to see a character who also has an extraordinary nature but is emotionally warm and understanding, someone who could help Boruto find his place in the world.
And what about Sarada in this hypothetical scenario?
I can also imagine a future where Sarada finds someone human with whom she can share her life and grow old. Someone who understands her ambitions, respects her dream of becoming Hokage, and walks alongside her as she builds the future she wants.
This doesn't mean Boruto and Sarada couldn't work out. It's simply a hypothetical reflection on how his potentially extended lifespan could influence his romantic choices.
Ultimately, I think it would be interesting to explore this possibility: Boruto ending up with an Ōtsutsuki woman who could accompany him throughout his long existence, while Sarada finds her own path and someone compatible with the life she wants to build.
What do you guys think? Would an Ōtsutsuki princess as Boruto's love interest be an interesting idea to explore?

Manga Spoilers / Discussion If Boruto is considered canon despite not being written or drawn by Kishimoto. Does this means the novels are also canon?
The novels contradict boruto directly. So umm how will this canon work?

Subreddit Do you find it messed up or fair that Boruto wasn’t mention at all in project Rasengan so far?
I do find it interesting, Boruto fans seem rather jaded at project Rasengan. Feeling a need to validate the series existence. No games announcing Boruto related dlc for games, the Ninku crossover is being done with younger Naruto crew instead of the Boruto crew, and a return to a manga focus exclusively before Boruto was born. Would you say the people behind project rasengan was fair to not mention Boruto or was foul for not mentioning it so far?

Manga Spoilers / Discussion This tribalism between Naruto/Boruto fans is getting annoying Spoiler
Like, can we please just appreciate that we're getting new Naruto content, instead of turning it into a pissing contest? Why are we arguing about whether Boruto is being "decanonized"? (Spoiler: it's not.)

Manga Spoilers / Discussion Does Boruto need a Remake? Spoiler
Does anyone not also feel like the anime deserves a full remake like Part 1 like whats happening to super, i hear many people on social media always wanna start it but sadly this converts to the problems we have today and why many people do not wanna give it a chance
honestly i think it would be great. i believe the story holds up on its own as a whole but i feel studio pierott damaged its reputation which is why even have to tell anyone to read the manga instead of watching the anime which is i feel as a person shouldnt be the case to be honest.

Manga Spoilers Boruto is NOT being decanonised.
The story is clearly set between Shippuden and nng, and will likely show Naruto and Sasuke fight in between the two. I have no idea how Narutostans are coming up with the Boruto is decanonised story. From the looks of it shadow Rising won’t last too long either, it seems like a mini series akin to jjk modulo.
Boruto is here to stay, it’s successful, and was actively being advertised in shibuya the other day, if it were unsucceaful they wouldnt be advertising in goddamn shibuya would they, right before a Naruto even alas. Pull yourselves together Narustans, stop being a hive mind of misinformation and pure toxicity.

Manga Spoilers / Discussion Alternative Boruto: NO Otsutsuki, who would be the villains? Spoiler
Let’s say we are in an alternative reality where the story ended with Naruto and Sasuke vs. Juubi-Madara and Kaguya Otsutsuki was never introduced.
After the final fight Hagoromo took back the Indra and Ashura chakras from Naruto and Sasuke. Leaving them respectively with KCM2 and EMS. The rest goes all the same.
Fast forward to Boruto’s times. Who would be the next villains? What threat would you create for Boruto’s world? You can invent anything you want as long as you think it would make a good story to be told in the Naruto universe.

Anime / Discussion question for the Boruto supporters Spoiler
why is Boruto hated on? i’ve loved Naruto for a while but i’ve been really getting into it more. I started Boruto a bit ago and am on ep. 132. I’m aware it’s different than Naruto, like story telling, symbolism, the vibe and meaning to things just aren’t the same. It is also not dark at all. (I believe it will definitely get dark in some way) In terms of where the story and the world of Naruto is going I think it’s good, of course they are going to build off the Okutsuki. With the announcement of Naruto : Shadows rising I see people being happy saying that Boruto’s “not canon” first this isn’t even confirmed or debunked, right? second, are people just hopping on the hate train that’s been around since the show first came out? Wtf is wrong with Boruto?

Manga Spoilers / Discussion Kawaki clothing design may not be what I think it is.. Spoiler
In the flash forward we see Kawaki wearing a scarf to cover his neck. But I do feel like this clothing is taken and somehow similar to Codes clothes under garments.

Manga Spoilers Is he gonna get his happy ending? Spoiler
Shonen protagonists are often viewed in a way that they always have a personal goal, have their happy ending and "yaaay".
Like Naruto becoming Hokage and having a family of his own.
Boruto used to have the goal to become a Shinobi like Sasuke and now,he is literally already living this goal, but I feel like the older he gets, the more I think he doesn't see a future for himself and that his life as a "Shinobi in the shadow" is gonna end pretty "quickly" for him.
His goal is to "restore the Uzumaki family."
However, does he include himself when he is just called Boruto Otsustuki now?
Do you also think that Boruto has become someone who absolutely doesn't care about himself anymore?
And if so, what do you think about this?

Anime / Analysis Young Naruto's hair
Simple question, is it by design that on Boruto, young Narutos hair is super short and way less spikey. Is this by design? Or just a silly design mistake

Anime / Discussion Hot take: Calling Boruto anime non-canon is like calling One Punch Man Season 3 non-canon
Yet it still doesn't change the fact that Boruto was, is and will remain canon within the Naruto-verse.
And while I know the anime was shit for the most part, the last dozen episodes were actually decently animated. At this point, we should hope that the series makes a more praiseworthy comeback.

Anime / Discussion I like Boruto and I wonder how the reboot will turn out
I MESSED UP, THERE IS NO REBOOT
Sorry, I watched "Why Kishimoto Will Erase Boruto From Canon" by DygoKnight on youtube. Pretty sure I just digi-walked away with the wrong conclusion.
Still, read it and give your take on the idea I presented for the slightly alternative future for Naruto and Sasuke after their ending.
I'm simply pasting a comment I left a few minutes ago.
Btw, these flair tags suck, why isn't their just a discussion tag?
They need a Manga / Discussion tag
The other post got deleted, said for me to use Manga or Anime, but those aren't singular tags.
Pasted comment:
Same. What i wonder is how this supposed reboot for Boruto is gonna play out. To me, the characterization don't even matter all that much. Like cool, let's see their personalities and perspectives on their parents, but im more curious about the power and new enemies. If you end Naruto with indra and ashra giving Naruto and Sasuke boosts, and an alien being a final boss, you can't just reverse it. The aliens are now part of it all. And to add, the display of skill from Boruto himself is awesome. He's a mix of the looks and power edge of his dad, the stoicism and beautiful skill of his uncle and wonderful coolness and skill of his grandfather. It's such a beautiful kind of child for a character like Naruto to have. Would be nice if they make new adult Naruto look more like his dad and make new adult Sasuke more like Madura with a mix of his brother. Also, wouldn't it be interesting if Sasuke chooses to start a new village, with Naruto and the leaf eventually getting into increasing greater battles with them. Two friends who want the same thing, a better home in a better world, with one headed towards ultimate forgiveness for anyone and the other being more practical as they forgive but don't forget and choose to punish accordingly. Maybe they even have differing subtle rules too. Like how the leaf won't let you leave them 100% because then you're rogue and a criminal, so, Sasuke's village takes in rogue ninja, giving them a second chance without letting them off the hook for their crimes. They get punished but are then treated fairly but most villagers. They'd both forever be brothers, Naruto and Sasuke, but also forever on slightly, or directly, aposing sides due to a new found set of fundamental values based on their childhoods, teenage years and reflecting of the way they were treated overall. Buuuuut it's ok, I know a story like that would never be made by Naruto's creator, dude can barely write women, plus, in my opinion, is brother's work is better. Read O-Part Hunters.
