Im writing a fantasy book and need a cover! I want the art style somewhat like this and the same character but different design. And more of a clean animated look. I have a lower budget so if anyone is willing to help me out lmk!!

Looking for someone who has a similar style to this cover from the Farseer Trilogy. Feel free to dm, I'll be asking to see your portfolio. Have a decent budget; however, I'm trying to keep it under one thousand dollars.

Edit: Got a lot more bites than I thought. Give me a day... or possibly the weekend to respond I'll be looking at porfolios for people who would match what I'm looking for best.

I'm absolutely thrilled with how good of a job she did for her first stab at it. We have a few things to add to make it more thoroghly align with the Rider-Waite tarot card it's inspired by, but I think it's mostly there.

Gut reactions? I think it's close but also something feels missing.

This is for my novel on Royal Road, which described far too briefly, is about a sad, gay French witch who adopts a daughter.

I'm going to publish a short story on KDP, only 50 pages. and I don't have a budget. so I decided to draw something myself. I know it looks amateurish but for a short story, I thought maybe it could work. what do you think?

Title: Book Cover Design for a Tamil Philosophical Novel | ஆதியின் அந்தம்

Sharing a recent book cover design created for a Tamil historical-philosophical novel titled ஆதியின் அந்தம்.

For this design, I wanted to capture a sense of mystery, ancient wisdom, and philosophical depth while giving the book a distinctive visual identity.

I’m a book cover designer, and I’d love to hear your honest feedback on this concept!

What is your first impression of the cover? 📚

Hello!

My name is Irene and I'm an illustrator who loves fantasy and sci-fi, and I'm incursioning in book covers and interior illustrations. I have done a few covers and I love that area of work! If you're interested, DM me so we can talk^^

Thanks!

Llevo días pensando en si empezar a prestar servicios de ilustración editorial pero no sé si sea lo idóneo por mi estilo actual y que me falta pulir algunas cosas, ¿Opiniones?, déjenlo abajo

Hi everyone! I’m a versatile artist rebuilding my book cover portfolio after losing access to my old Instagram account. I’d love to offer a free custom cover to one author whose story inspires me.

I’m especially interested in working with an author who publishes on Amazon/KDP and has an upcoming book, though you’re welcome to share your project regardless.

You’ll be involved throughout the process, with updates at four stages:

1. Rough sketch and composition
2. Line art
3. Base colours
4. Final rendering, shading, and details

To apply, please share your book’s genre, a short description, your publishing timeline, and whether you need an ebook cover or a full print wrap. An existing author or book page would also be helpful if you have one.

The selected cover will be free to use commercially for the agreed book. In return, I’m looking for permission to show the finished artwork in my portfolio and link to your book once it’s published. After we finish, I’d also appreciate an honest testimonial about your experience.

I’m comfortable working across different styles and would love to hear about your story!

See last for typography work!

I'm a big fan of fantasy, romantasy, and sci-fi books! (Even more when it's based on or influenced by different cultures :) )

Hopefully this is the right place to show off my official cover & book design by RustedGoldArt 🥹🖤 You can find the artist on TikTok. She specializes in character art, covers, and book design in the sapphic community.

This is for my debut novel, The Crest of Lilith 🌙

Release is scheduled for Spring 2027 📚

Okay, that is all!! 🥰

As a photographer based in the South West, I know how frustrating it can be to source moody, high-res environment backgrounds that aren't ruined by modern infrastructure or bad compression.

I spent a few hours in the heavy fog on Bodmin Moor this week capturing raw Cornish atmosphere, and I’ve put together a free 3-Plate Designer Sampler to share with the community.

It includes three uncompressed, ultra-high-resolution files (a sweeping misty landscape, a minimalist sky layout backdrop, and a high-texture golden bracken leaf). I shot and framed all of these intentionally to leave vast negative copy space for cinematic typography layers.

They are 100% royalty-free and approved for commercial project use. You can grab the files directly from my independent storefront here: payhip.com

(The full, cohesive 9-plate master volume is sitting right next to it if you happen to be working on a multi-part book series layout and need deeper continuity!)

I'd love to hear your thoughts or see how they look under your typography canvases if you give them a spin. Hope they help save you some cloning time on your next project!

These are two of the three concept designs my designer has come back with; still waiting on design number three. Looking for some feedback. Which is your favorite, and what changes would you recommend to the design of your favorite?

EDIT: The design I end up deciding on will be done in full color. I’ll post that when it’s ready.
