I'm absolutely thrilled with how good of a job she did for her first stab at it. We have a few things to add to make it more thoroghly align with the Rider-Waite tarot card it's inspired by, but I think it's mostly there.

Gut reactions? I think it's close but also something feels missing.

I’m especially interested in working with an author who publishes on Amazon/KDP and has an upcoming book, though you’re welcome to share your project regardless.

You’ll be involved throughout the process, with updates at four stages:

1. Rough sketch and composition
2. Line art
3. Base colours
4. Final rendering, shading, and details

Novel details:

4. Corruption of Power: Strength requires consumption. Gain power, risk becoming a monster.

Overarching Motif: The Gilded Cage – A prison of infinite beauty and possibility. The greatest danger is learning to love your chains.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to design a cover for my first novel. It’s a psychological dark romance about a U.S. senator.

I’m having a hard time finding someone who does this particular style. I’m looking for something that looks like an actual photograph, not an illustration or digital art.

I’ve attached a mockup of what I have in mind. I used AI to make the reference, but I don’t want AI used for the actual cover. I want someone who works with real stock photography. (I don’t love the font of this I just want to show what I would want the title and author name to be)

I also need the cover to work with both Kindle and paperback versions for Amazon KDP.
