Not overpowered for tier one. Allows you to print triples with le lurking fishe. Sometimes comes in clutch late game because it is rally and gives you a body. Hard to ask for more from tier one.

When it was first introduced, everyone was talking about its ability to stabilize a board with stats. I initially thought that was insane given how pathetic its stats were— than it was buffed... I guess?

Right now, it feels like such insane bait. Ironically, it's a decent card to buy as filler— but such a horrifically awful card to buy if you're playing greedily.

It really seems like a card made to stabilize— but it ends up just doing the opposite, a card made to help anyone else but you. I think it should be a 1/1 that gains 50/50 at under 15— but let me know if you have a better idea.

Teammate apparently didn't like that I went 3 on 3, started putting the x on every card and then bought minions or hasty excavation to kill us faster. Gotta love duos sometimes

It's so hard to scale the unit late game and it feels like there's no synergy 🥲

I picked to copy my partners lesser trinket, they picked the mystery cube.

It copied the first option they selected. They got to keep picking a new option, my trinket didn't change from their first pick the rest of the game.

I was stuck with the first one they selected the entire game.

This was a fun final.

I’m currently playing in the 7.5k–8k MMR range, and honestly, I often find myself overthinking when picking Dark Gifts.

I watch jeef most of the time, and in most of his streams, he emphasizes using the first two Dark Gifts purely for tempo, saving the last one to adapt to your specific tribe or to dig for key direction/enablers.

However, in execution, I still get stuck on some choices. For example: In the early game, is a Free Refresh gift better, or should I go for raw stat buff gifts like Fortitude? I’ve noticed Jeef almost always prioritizes the Refresh/Economy/Shop-control options, but I find it hard to evaluate the exact threshold where raw tempo beats economy/roll efficiency.

How do you guys approach these choices in the current meta?

• What are your instant-lock Dark Gifts in the early game?
• When do you justify taking raw stats/buffs over economy/re-rolls?

Open to any advice, guidelines, or heuristics! Thanks in advance.

I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. I get good early game tempo, I stay above 30 until turn 7-8. So naturally, I upgrade my tavern early on so I can contest high tier cards. The problem is, what do I do when I don't get ANY high tier cards in the tavern?

After I level up, my comp is strong enough to buy me a turn or two, but even after I don't get any high tier cards to help my board or give me any direction.

For example I win streak until turn 8 or something, and I'm tier 5. I refresh my shop like 2 times, no tier 5. I roll 2 more, still no tier 5s, or maybe 1 that doesn't give me any direction (panda or amalgam). Next turn same thing occurs.

You guys might think I'm typing out of frustration after 1 bad game, but I am having this problem in multiple games, and I lost like 2k mmr just purely on not getting any high tier minions when I should be getting them.

Do I just stabilise with wasted econ and die out and play for 5th? Which is what I'm already doing then when do I actually get parts that I need to strengthen my board?

I reached 14k for the first time while playing two accounts at once.

Sometimes I appreciate it. Sometimes my partner is just better, or they know a cool strat and wanna share it. This is too much. This kind of stuff feels like someone just wants to play two boards.

I don't play aberration because I'm on mobile, and anyways Im playing mech cause of hero.
