Last month, I bought a jumbo purple 🟣 pencil ✏️ And ever since I got it, I said to myself "I'm going to start collecting jumbo pencils ✏️✏️"

My sister and i just launched our African Fantasy anime on Kickstarter. Based in our Zimbabwean culture of animal totems and inspired by our favourite films and anime.

In this story, what your animal totem can do, you can do - at a cost!

Using the power of your totem is illegal, until the tournament of totems comes along. 10 fighters. 3 tribes. 1 winner.

18 year old Shingai, searching for belonging and a chance to prove his strength, enters the tournament. And on the first day of the tournament, someone is murdered and everyone in the tournament is a suspect. But...this does not stop the tournament, it just makes it more.... complicated.

We're 30% funded so far with 22 days to go and are keen on finding more people who wanna join us in creating Zimbabwe's first anime.

We've been working on this thing for years and we're super proud of it. We think it'll become something special. We just need enough people to share that vision with us.

If that's you, back our campaign:)

Respect.

I'm playing Pokemon go and there's this pokemon that keeps continuously escaping where I don't know what to do.

My sister and i have been working on this project for most of our animation careers and getting more eyes on it the last few weeks has brought on a wave of support and surprisingly a few of detractors saying if we're going to make something African, it should not be inspired by a Japanese art form.

From our POV, growing up in Zimbabwe, a lot of our culture has lost relevance and we grew up with stories from popular media defining our creative expression more than anything else.

The little we learned of our history growing up wasn’t flashy or memorable enough to compete with the popular media.

There wasn’t much reason to engage with our culture that deeply.

But when we started making this story, researching it gave us an angle to recontextualise our own history and see ourselves in it for the first time

Would like to hear any thoughts on this and if you'd like to check out the project: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mutupo/mutupo-tournament-of-totems-anime-pilot?ref=project_build

We'd appreciate it!

All I'm saying is if there is a one shot or a series with both of them working together could someone please post it or write it.

Then do a live action series for it?

I have been a ghost hunter since 2006. I’ve done 100s of investigations. They are fun but can be very boring. I’ve been on a couple of television shows and I’m connected with great spiritually solid people to stay grounded. I’ve done private haunting, cursed objects, have witnessed a couple of exorcisms and have overall just have seen and been involved in very strange and sometimes unexplainable events. So you can ask me away

What I need? When I used to go to Paranormal cons I’d never see anyone black. Our team would speak and it was never a black face anywhere lol and that could be for obvious reasons but I would absolutely LOVE to find a blackLBTQIA team member to journey with me. I won’t lead you into harms way I promise!

If you’re serious please hmu
