I have decided to rebrand my novel. It will now be the first of five books. The series will be called: The Harmonies of Nature Saga. Book 1 is titled “ A Shadow at the Altar”

The story takes place in my hometown Detroit. Three estranged friends finally reunite after 7 years. After a drunk night out , their celestial powers awaken. Each are given an element of nature. Fire. Ice. Lightning.

As they discover the truth behind their powers , they become connected to an ancient celestial war involving the original Arc-angels, and hidden enemy. Now they face a destiny that is bigger than they ever imagined.

Blending fantasy, the dynamic of Black men in friendship groups and society social standards, and religious traditions. This story takes inspiration from my own experiences growing up in church and trying to find who you are. This explores what happens when the ordinary world collides with the supernatural.
