I used to pay ₹40, but the delivery guy now asks for ₹50, even though I live less than 1 km from the distributor. With inflation and job uncertainty, everyone is working hard and trying to manage rising expenses. For example, even 1 kg of onions now costs around ₹60 in some places. I’m also working hard, so who is giving me tips for doing my job?

I understand delivery workers deserve fair pay, but tips shouldn’t keep increasing. One day ₹50 may become ₹75, then ₹100. Some may say it’s not a big deal, but what if it reaches ₹100 per cylinder?

Is this common across Bengaluru? How much do you pay, and has refusing the tip affected your deliveries?

I received an offer from Standard Chartered for the Analyst, Development role under its Apprenticeship Program.

My joining date is November 11, 2026, and my location is Bengaluru.

Is anyone else joining on the same date, especially in Bengaluru? It would be great to connect.

I also requested a transfer to Chennai due to family circumstances, but HR said it wasn’t possible.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Is location reconsideration possible before joining, or is the initial allocation usually final?

I am looking for a preschool (jr kg) In koramangala. I want a bit elite crowd as budget is not a constraint. I am not looking for a traditional school( st francis/bethany) at the moment.

Thanks to u/Accomplished-Car7314 and his amazing wife, the cat was taken to the veterinarian. They plan to provide necessary care for it. Thanks a lot to both of them for rescuing Piku the sweet kitten 😸

Found this stray kitten yesterday evening at the entrance of my house in Chandra Layout. It was stuck in between the metal slats of the gate. I freed it thinking it would run away, only to find out that its hind legs were fully paralyzed. Just a few days ago I had seen it with its mother and sibling perfectly healthy. I guess due to a fall from a height it broke its spine and was abandoned by the mother.

In order to get it rescued I already called 4 places:

1. Bangalor.. Cat Squad - said they have stopped with rescues.

2. Praana Cat Rehabilitation and Adoption Center - did not respond to either WhatsApp messages or calls.

3. Charlie's Animal Rescue Centre (CARE) - said their facility's capacity for cats is full.

4. People for Animals - said they only deal with wildlife.

I'm not sure how long the kitten may live without veterinary or specialized care.

If anyone is involved with cat rescue centers or interested in taking care of the kitten, kindly DM me.

I am providing food and shelter for now but would like to send the kitten off to a safe place with good caregivers.
