Has anyone received their year 1 recap video emailed to them? My 2 friends got their's but ai don't see mine in my email

Just a minor question and i am not considering suing them but i was just wondering.

So here is my take: if the xp is capped at 300 per minute and i remember someone on here saying that you can exceed it with xp boosters (he said that you get from 20k an hour to about 31K). If that is the case you would increase it by boosters for about 50%. But they are actively selling xp boosters in bundles for real money labeled as 100% Boosters. So that would be at least false advertising.

WARNING: this is a rant by a butthurt fellow gamer who’s tired of this circus just getting more and more clowny.

TLDR: The art direction and AI have completely ruined this game and its identity.

Honestly, I’m getting tired of the direction Battlefield 6 is going. The newer maps are great, which makes it even more frustrating, because there’s a solid game underneath all the nonsense.
The AI-generated content and the overall art direction just make the game feel cheap and soulless. It’s hard to take the atmosphere seriously when the visual identity feels so inconsistent. Battlefield used to have a distinct identity and corpo greed ruined it.
I’ve tried to stick with it because the gameplay can be awesome but I’m just losinh interest in supporting the direction they’re taking. Season 5 will be my final season of this game. Just can’t support it anymore.
It’s a shame, because gameplay wise it has a damn solid foundation. The potential is still there but EA can’t help themselves.

I mean it’s one thing to create skins using AI and another when the skins are so low quality that it looks like generated in chatgpt using a single prompt. How can a triple A studio present this and not expect backlash. Do they even care anymore. All of the new skins are so bad that now even other studios like ARMA are making fun of DICE.

It’s a mystery to me how players can still defend the current state of the gunplay. Most weapons are essentially lasers with zero recoil. This is why the TTK (time-to-kill) feels so short; the issue isn't the TTK itself, but the fact that you can just hold down the trigger instead of having to tap-fire. The only weapons that require any semblance of skill are DMRs and certain sidearms—which is precisely why you almost never get killed by them. Snipers have virtually no bullet drop, making long-range kills—something that actually required skill back in BF4—far too easy. The "sweet spot" mechanic is also completely ridiculous and needs to go. Are you all just so bad, or so lazy, that you don't even want a shred of gun skill in this game? At this point, *Fortnite* has a thousand times more recoil and requires more gun skill than *Battlefield 6*—which is just insane.

Theyre not disclosing AI useage in the page even though they do use it. Just a curious question nothing else really. unless i missed the disclaimer or change that steam games dont require it anymore.

I love bf1, have 500hours and game is still good, bf4 was enjoyable but I left due to unemployed tryhards raping me with helicopters.

How is the bf6, promised better version of bf4 going? I know people love to complain but want to know your opionion, or wait for game to go cheaper?

We have deployed a hotfix to resolve an issue that could cause audio to cut out until the game is restarted.

Not really sure what this means? I don't create anything in game (repair torch drawings ig?) Nor do I ever type in chat but tried to play today and was bummed for 3 days with that being the reasoning. My only assumption is I got mass reported cause I had most of the pilots on the other team trash talking me for shooting them down with the mobile AA most of the game but idk if that's a likely cause? The Easter Egg's been completed, theres 8 buttons on Area 51 that you have to run between quite a few times and press in different orders, and a secret room with instructions - but you can unlock the "Base Invaders" UFO charm, and also see a UFO get shot and crash over Area 51.

If you look through my posting history, you'll see I'm one of the biggest BF6 cheerleaders on here. Call me a shill, whatever.

But this XP cap will kill the game. And I don't care if it is in the main game or just Portal. Some of the most intense games I've played have been in Vertex or Faithwalker portal servers. To cap the XP is just a stupid decision on it's face and it doesn't matter where they are doing it. Just that they are doing it.

When players who have championed the game from day 1 quit, it won't recover. It just can't. They can put it on Gamepass and attract new players but how long are they going to stick around when it takes forever to rank up? When the game actually penalizes you for playing well?

Insane decision.

In my third game of conquest this evening, got ~14,300 points on scoreboard, and after game end, ~24,000xp total. This usually would result in at least 40,000xp after all bonuses said and done.

I’ve liked some things and disliked others here and there up to this point, but still enjoyed playing the game almost nightly. Now there is no incentive to progress, or reward to play competitively or become a better player over time. In combination with the “pay to progress” model, if this isn’t undone, I’m officially done playing from here on out after my 500+ hrs. “But you shouldn’t rely on xp to have fun” is absolutely no excuse for this.

I really hope this gets the backlash it deserves. As others have said, this should have more traction than a majority of the other issues reported on here e.g. skins, bugs, etc. Not that they weren’t worth noting - but this is just stupid at this point.

Note: this is just one data point, I’m not confirming 100% there is a cap now, but it seems likely from this experience.

Just don`t play the game, leave a negative review, and, of course, don’t buy anything in the store.

If EA and DICE want the game to die, then so be it. Even free weekends + Gamepass won’t save this failed project. Season 5 online is a failure in every sense.

What’s everybody’s thoughts on the new maps?
I haven’t played enough yet to form an opinion but from first impressions. Too small. When one team is winning they control most of the map and dominating. Again, I barely played them.
