Poly or UoB for Electrical Engineering

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

BH national currently in poly year 2 programming I love the uni but I want to change my major to electrical engineering (for various reasons). I graduated from a private school and am strong in math and physics but I also enjoy the practical side of engineering (tinkered with arduino and did some soldering projects and it was very fun).

I am torn between staying in poly and transferring to EE here or going to UoB.

My main concern is that since poly is basically an engineering technology degree (only 2 math classes lol) I would be limited in my understanding as an engineer and limited in my career so maybe UoBs theory heavy approach (and Bsc ABET accreditation) would be better? but then again in bahrain there isnt much R&D or work that really needs all that theory.

I hope to work in Bahrain or in the Khaleej

If there any engineering students from either unis or any established engineers who could give me advice that would be much appreciated!

It is Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) and is IET accredited wheras UoB is Bachelor of Science in Engineering. I just wanted to know how much this matters in the industrybut I doubt these engineers are even on reddit lol.
