Selling non controlled prescription medication

• Upvotes

Lets say someone made a website selling prescription medication (w/o a prescription ofc) but no controlled substances like heart medication or cholesterol medication for example would law enforcement or dea even care enough to look into it and come after the person? And if so what punishment might they face?

An aged friend needs immediate referral. Can anyone help? (Arizona)

• Upvotes

URGENT: The family of an aged friend with terminal illness is using the legal system unjustly against her, leaving her destitute. A crucial hearing in Pinal County, AZ is coming up in 18 days, and she cannot afford representation.

A strategy has been found, though, that can turn this crisis around. If bad behavior is determined [such can be proven] the court must force the opposing party to pay attorney costs and fees, and she will receive compensation rightfully due her years ago. Anyone who knows a firm willing to consider this case Pro Bono, please message me for details.

Arizona custody case

I the father was granted temporary full emergency custody until our court date November 3rd , the mom has no custody of our son and I was granted legal decision of the mother so I can say when she can see the kid and for how long and how and so on and so on ! Or I can tell her she can’t
But the mom won’t give me our son and is hiding from me and is planning to flee the state to Georgia !
In the court order granted by the judge I do not have to serve her this motion but the police won’t help me and won’t enforce or honor the agreement!
I need to know what to do and if this would be grounds for a amber alert or some kind of alert

I just want to uphold the law and court orders and get my son
What can I do to get my son back in my possession

Questions about my juvenile record

Location: Virginia, California.

So I am trying to join the Navy. Part of this process may require access to my juvenile records.

Some background information is that I was 13-14 at the time. After I was off of probation my mom packed her car with our stuff and we moved across the country to Virginia. From there we lived in a hotel for the entirety of Covid and some time afterwards.

I asked her about my court case in a few instances during that time and she got really mad at me for it so I never brought it up again. She also made sure to adamantly tell me that everything was taken care of and my record was completely cleared.

I went through MEPS without any issues from a background check so I thought everything was taken care of.

It was only yesterday or the day before that I called the Sacromento County Public Defenders Office Juvenile Division and learned of an outstanding warrant from having missed several court dates. That was the first time ever ever heard about this.

I do not live in California but my siblings do, my sister in particular has offered multiple times to help me take care of this.

So the questions I have are;

1.) How can I go about receiving copies of the records and having those records expunged?

2.) Am I able to designate my sister as a legal proxy?

3.) Are there any resources I can access that could help me get through this process? Preferably free ones as, since the first time I asked to get a job at 16, I haven't been allowed to have a job on the threat of homelessness.

4.) What would the process of getting this settled look like?

5.) Is there any other information I may need or may be missing regarding this

I’m being sued for defamation by a state level politician. What should I do

Iowa

I don’t want to get into specifics. Party A is a friend of mine. Party A leaves place of employment where she signed a do not compete and goes to a competitor in the same company. Party B loses business and sues “A” but can’t prove they specifically recruited anyone. People left and went to other companies as well. Party B wins lawsuit. Party B is also a state level politician who owns the business in town

Party A makes Facebook post about being sued and the outcome of the lawsuit and who they won’t be voting for. I share it to my personal social media page and a local public page where it got lots of views and comments.

And now I’m being sued along with party A again for defamation. Party B has election coming up in less than a month.

She put n/A instead of yes or no if either her or the people she lives with have a criminal record or n/A to if she has a CAS case. Which she currently does have a case open right now

I am respondent. I don't know what to file against it.

Will cas give me a case number?

Want dad out of our life.

My dad (70M) currently lives with my sibling. Dad is mostly wheelchair bound and relies on me for transport to/from medical appts (every few weeks, over 100 miles round trip + hours of my time).

Dad was supposed to be paying rent to Sibling for living there, but contributes literally nothing - no bills, no cleaning, no groceries, nothing but a leech. He has said repeatedly he is working on moving out but has made no efforts at all to. I know because I have Power of Attorney and have access to most all of his finances, and pay for his phone.

He has received over a quarter million over the years from his dad (grandpa) and likely never paid taxes on them. He often sends money to randoms he meets on the internet / his girlfriends over the years (this has been an ongoing thing since like 2009). Completely financially inept and just a burden on all of us - never takes accountability for anything.

I honestly just want him out of our life. What are my options? Make him a ward of the state? Get full legal guardianship over him? Report him to the IRS? Kick him out of the house and let him figure it out on his own? I think the eviction process may be super stressful for everyone and not worth it if we're just forced to take him back.

How do I know if I am a beneficiary of a Trust if the trustee won't tell me?

My brother and mother have been very secret about my parent's trust. There were changes made right before my dad died and after he was diagnosed with alzheimer's. I have good reason to believe there is undue influence. He came down recently when my mom was sick and she signed some documents. After my dad passed my brother said everything was left to my mom, but I know there was a trust and that each of the kids is a beneficiary. I don't know if my brother is the trustee but he is acting as such. My mom doesn't even have a copy or copies of anything she has signed. Was he supposed to provide the beneficiaries with copies?

Hospital is saying they can’t help my uninsured dad get into rehab after a severe stroke. What are our options, and do I need a lawyer??(GA)

Hospital is saying they can’t help my uninsured dad get into rehab after a severe stroke. What are our options, and what do we do if they try to discharge him?(GA)

My dad was admitted to a hospital in Georgia on October 3 after suffering a severe stroke. He cannot move the right side of his body, and his doctors anticipate that he will need extensive rehabilitation. Since being admitted, he has also developed ARDS and pneumonia, which have prolonged his hospital stay. As of October 15, he is still intubated. He has no health insurance.

When he was first admitted, we spoke with a caseworker who explicitly advised us NOT to apply for Medicaid because she wanted us to pursue a charity bed. We were told that applying for Medicaid would prevent him from qualifying for the charity bed at a nice facility. Based on that information, we followed her guidance. Now, we have been told that the charity bed is no longer an option and that we need to apply for Medicaid to cover his hospital bills. (They are really pushing us to fill this out ASAP)

I spoke with the caseworker again to say my dad cannot safely come him and our family does not have the resources to care for him. The caseworker ignored that and continued emphasizing that he could potentially receive an in-home nurse through Medicaid. However, we are concerned that home health services would not be sufficient for his needs, especially given the severity of his stroke and his other medical complications.

When I asked the caseworker to help us find rehabilitation facilities that accept Medicaid, she said there were none in Georgia. She also stated that she is not allowed to help patients who do not have insurance and that the hospital cannot do anything else for him. We are now trying to figure out our next steps before he is ready for discharge, which could be within the week.

Another point of confusion is that, from what we have been told by the caseworker, the Medicaid application for his hospital bills is different from the Medicaid coverage he would need for care after discharge. She is telling us to apply for Medicaid to cover his hospital stay, but she has not provided resources or assistance for applying for what we understand to be regular Medicaid that could potentially help with rehabilitation, in-home care, or other ongoing services, depending on eligibility. We do not know whether these are actually separate programs or whether applying for one affects eligibility for the other.

**My questions are:**

**1. What happens if the hospital tries to discharge him?** Can the hospital discharge him to our family even though we have explained that we cannot care for him? What should we do if they attempt to discharge him without a safe plan

**2. Should I apply for Medicaid independently or insist that the hospital caseworker help us?** Given that we were initially told not to apply, have we lost any potential benefits or options? Is there a way to get Medicaid coverage for his hospital rehabilitation, if he qualifies?

**3. Is it true that the hospital cannot help us because he is uninsured?** I find it difficult to believe that the caseworker cannot assist with discharge planning or placement simply because he does not have insurance. Is there someone else at the hospital we should contact?
