I might be being too specific here but don’t ask don’t get
20f living in the UK, I’ve been drawing digitally since I was around 11 but around a year and a half ago I realised this is what I want to do for a living and started taking it more seriously
I’ve made a few pieces I’m pretty proud of but I recently had quite a lot of criticism regarding most of my artworks, following this I’m deciding to go back to basics, studying line and form and perspective and composition etc…
Is there anyone here who would like a buddy doing a similar thing? I think hearing someone else’s views on these things could help us both out a lot!
Maybe someone who studies the basics but struggles to progress to more finished pieces? We could help each other out!
I have a few pieces on my page, if you’d like to see more or have any questions comment or send me a dm!

Hey everyone! I’m a 33M self taught artist from India. I’ve been doing digital art for years, but due to personal reasons, I’ve shifted towards traditional mediums and have been focusing more on oil painting lately.
I’m a bit introverted, so I’m not entirely sure how to go about this, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Lately, I’ve been struggling with motivation and focus. It’s been about 10 days since I last stepped into my studio, and I think having someone to talk to about art might help.
One of the hardest things about being a self taught artist is not having artist friends to share the journey with. Someone to exchange concepts, discuss techniques, share knowledge, give honest feedback, and talk about the struggles that come with taking your craft seriously.
I’m hoping to find someone who’s genuinely passionate about their craft, someone who’s a little crazy about art, just like me. Not an occasional hobbyist, but someone who really wants to keep learning and growing together.
My work mainly revolves around figurative art, exploring mood, storytelling, and emotion.
Sorry if this comes across as a little awkward. I’m not very good at putting myself out there, but if this sounds like you, I’d love to connect!
Any other suggestions are also welcomed

Hi all, I'm Mando. I'm 28 years old and I live in Sweden. I am a hobbyist, and I love to paint in gouache, watercolor, and digitally. You can find some of my work on my profile. I honestly paint digitally most of the time because of convenience, but I do love the feeling of putting paint to paper. I will actually start a new piece today. Let's see how that goes haha. Hmu if you are interested in being my art buddy! Cheers and much love.
