Original Fighting safe bollock dagger made by a friend in New Zealand
A friend in the medieval world asked for a fighting knife.
We convinced him the bollock was the way.

I'm familiar with the helmet worn by the re-enactor in red, but the one worn by the guy in blue is new to me. Looking for examples of this type of scale helmet in art or surviving pieces, though unlikely with the latter.

Tod's Workshop youtube channel recently featured the chakram. It got me thinking about how the sling, staff-sling, atlatl, blowpipe, and bow, all involve extra parts to impart more energy into the projectile.
Has anyone seen or heard of anything vaguely equivalent for chakram (or even boomerangs, knives, axes, etc)? Some of the projectiles involve "hitting with the point" (arrow / dart / javelin / spear, etc), and I'm not entirely sure how little or much projectiles spin that come from a sling or staff-sling, but is there anything that helps accentuate the intentional spin of projectiles like chakram / boomerang / knives / axes?
