Wanted to incorporate some of my favourite underdog villagers, kitt especially, for the halloween theme i want to start on. ofc stitches is a go-to villager for a halloween themed island but i feel that he gets enough love already, any underdog villager recommendations to replace him with?

Edit: I forgot to mention that id like to keep 1 of each species. biskit is my favourite villager but i feel like lucky and stinky just fit a slight bit more 😅, kiki definitely also has enough love already haha

So I've played ACNH on and off for years, but always dip cuz I never know what to do. Now, I love Tomodachi Life Living the Dream, and in that game you can build pathways for Miis to walk on. And apparently, if I researched right, villagers in New Horizons will do the same thing, tho can still walk randomly? That is to say, how I play Tomodachi has inadvertently given me many ideas for how to design my island in New Horizons. Praise be :3

I just got around to rewatching this again and my goodness was there so much I never knew was possible in this game here. I mean I've played it since 2020 and throughout all the years I've spent with it, I'm more shocked at the things I was never able to aquire in my playthrough.

Stuff like that Coffee Cafe and the Pro Camera Upgrade I knew about, but stuff like the storage upgrades for your home and the STORAGE SHED outside it are things I NEVER knew about at all here! 😲 I still couldn't even figure out how to add more rooms into my home, let alone actually get around to fully remodeling the whole island itself!

I've been so focused on the daily routines I've found myself doing that I never really took the time to really get around to unlocking any of that, and with the added dept I had to pay off, one I've forgotten about how that came to be in itself, it's always been something that kept my focused on the most. On top of building up all those Nook Miles as well.

What I'm trying to say here is that... I never really realized how much I barely scratched the surface with this game after six and a half years of its release.

Also that last statement about that 2.0 update being the last major free content update? Man did that not age well did it, haha.😅

Yo, I'm starting up playing again after a few months but I'm sort of bored and just want to have people visit/visit others or dream island with someone. Anyone online now?

Also! I'm 24, just so it's not a surprise if anyone is wanting to hang!

I figured out if you use the paths you’re given in the designer app (like dirt, brick, stone, etc.) you can then use custom designs on them that can look really cool. Instead of just a simple flat square it fits into the other path pattern and looks more dynamic. It will also “blend” with the pattern below it, changing colors slightly, you can even give it texture this way.

But the game is really picky about it. There are a lot of custom designs that don’t do this and instead go over the path pattern completely, back to a flat square.

It gets aggravating trying to find ones that will work and I can’t figure out why some work and some don’t. I’m getting some awesome results but I’m also wasting a lot of time trying custom designs.

Is there any way to tell which ones will work and which ones won’t? What am I missing?

Not all players have nintendo online so cant visit others.

Am i (an online member) able to visit players that dont have a membership? Or do both players have to have it?
