I know some folks here have been speculating what setup the guys will use for the feels shows. See what this can tell us.

Stoked as hell! Can’t believe it only next week!

Made this around 2019 and posted it on Facebook, where I got rightfully roasted for missing a few albums. I just decided to update it, so here we go again.

The "Great work" badges are just my personal picks, I'd love to know which ones you would swap. I'm more of an Avey-person, if you didn't notice. I left out Reset, Geologist's solo stuff and some other live albums because I couldn't find a spot for them without wrecking the layout

No offence to anyone living in the Freak Zone (bottom right) <3

Just checked the event pages on DICE and it says Eric Copeland is opening on NYC night one, and a band called Whait is opening on night two!!!! Let’s goooooo!!!!

Hi! I'm making some bracelets to give out at the Thursday knockdown show. I'm wondering if anyone else is doing so, or if I will be the only dork who brought some. They say "anco", "feels" and my fav "animal". I know people usually make these out of stretch cord but I didn't have any so they have clasps. I have like a dozen? I might make more though. I'm so excited for the show it will be my first time in NYC.

And entirely unrelated to bracelets, anyone have any ideas of merch that may or may not be there? Like did the first show of the sung tongs tour (before it was a tour) have merch? Was it good? Wild speculation welcome below.

anyone got any info on this shirt? and who got one theyd sell me lol

Hey all - I bought four tickets and only need three. Happy to sell to an AC fan in NYC. DM if interested.

I have an extra for 10/22 and would love to trade for a single War on Drugs ticket in Jersey City.

either in their strange folk or pop genres or just bands with a similar sense of uniqueness to it

I’m honestly fine with anything that reminds u of them!

I have finally tried my hand at doing another AC makeup look although this one is definitely more out there. I wanted to do feels for people going to the upcoming shows (and she will come I promise) but I'm not confident on how to approach it quite yet! Anyway love my bestie Centipede and she's usually last pick anyways so here's some love lol

Why are anco fans so insane? I've met a few other reasonable ones but I have a hard time connecting with other fans of anco, particularly avey tare fans. Many of which are like psycho stalker types.

I remember the days of collected animals and the ridiculousness of all that, but nowadays it seems to have metastasized into something quite dark and gross. I really don't believe the music attracts that kind of person, but I think maybe the strange nature or "experimentalism" of the music is misinterpreted by folks who genuinely need professional help. It's like taking psychedelics without a guide or beginning a path of meditation without a responsible and compassionate teacher.

Y'all need to ground yourself in reality. Treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Check yourselves anco fans!!!

does anyone hear a similarity between Summertime Clothes and Minority by Green Day? I guess specifically the chorus of both songs. They both even have that guitar riff that appears only at the end of the song

”The A.V. Club asked Portner to program a 24-hour marathon of cinematic favorites. The resulting selections betray a refined, adventurous taste in the medium: Those expecting a daylong dose of Jason Voorhees or Freddy Krueger should take that new band title a bit less literally.” — A.A. Dowd, A.V. Club | April 11, 2014.

Peligro (Danger) on the first few mins of youth episode 4

God I hope so

Personally I think it is one of their best modern (maybe any) era songs. Maybe a stanza too long at the end but a unique and absorbing 20 minute work of music.

I’m a young fan (I’m 21) and I think it’s a great album. Why didn’t people like it when it came out?

EDIT: the actual playlist is here: https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLJsRVWrZQ6E&si=6juIBUwmCkJIvwUF

Well, yeah, so basically I love Panda, and sometimes I just wanna listen to all the features he has, because the guy never misses. There are several playlists that have many of these songs, but I never found one that had EVERY single one, so I made it myself and thought why not share?

Songs are more or less in chronological order.

Please, tell me if I forgot any feature or if I screwed up the order somewhere.

Next Friday (October 16th) the playlist will be 35 songs long with the much anticipated addition of "Highfield", a Panda Bear feature from the new "The Avalanches" album that releases that day.

Fun Fact: I also took the picture that serves as playlist cover. It's from an elevator door. Those initials are pretty common here (Spain), it means Planta Baja (Ground Floor or First Floor), but every time I see it I just think "Panda Bear".

EDIT: so this is my first post ever and somehow I initially shared the first song of the playlist instead of the actual playlist and it turns out that Reddit doesn't let you change a video once it's posted so that's why I had to paste the link to the actual playlist and I'm gonna do it again just in case:

Found this gem completely at random at my local Record store

Been listening to their discography these past few weeks getting pumped. My millennial ass needs this in my life. I took off work the next day (fri) going to cruise right into the weekend. feels like it will be a borderline ethereal experience. Just finished shopping my look for evening 💅🏼👢

Who else is getting excited? What are your top 5 songs you wish they'd play after they finish the Feels set
