1) Magnolia Vinings Apartments - Could you please share the reviews about your living experience? Are the apartments safe and roaches free?

2) Berkshire at Vinings - The apartment I looked at was pretty nice but the one that’s available is near the train track. Does it get noisy because of trains especially at night? Do residents have any complains about it?

Family moved recently from India. Well travelled outgoing social family with kid. We are looking to buy home in North Atlanta. We like the Suwanee or Sugarhill neighborhood. but dont find many communities with atleast 10-30% desi families. These communities tend to be more Korean, Asian or White communities. Do you recommend any communities in these cities with a decent amount of desi neighbors. Primarily looking for communities where kid will have other desi friends to have a sense of belonging and acceptance in a new country.

Please recommend communities which we can consider.

Hello! I landed a job in ATL a few weeks ago and need to move out within the next 2 weeks. I have been searching around with a budget of $1,850/mo base rent for a 1-bed 1-bath, and below are my top contenders. They all have their own complaints of security or roaches or management, but I don't think I can ever find the perfect place. I am working in Knight Park area right next to Geogria Tech and only have to be in the office 3 days a week, so I am fine commuting from a more northern place, and driving 40-60mins in rush hour if it means better security and living spaces.

I like the Brookhaven / Sandy Springs areas a lot and have heard great things, but I have also seen that MAA West Midtown is good and close to where I will be, so not sure what to choose. hello, I am currently trying to find someone that needs an apartment located very close to downtown atlanta that is willing to lease! the place is called Platform Grant Park and the living space is 1 bedroom, with a connection to a personal bathroom that comes with 2 sinks and a walk-in closet. EVICTION CRISIS IN ATLANTA

From my previous post I made about moving to Atlanta in December, I got the numbers for my early lease termination .. it’s 4 bands to move out early . Within these 2 months before I depart , I do have a savings set up, as well as my checking. I do already have one retirement pension , but I definitely want to have a job set up to stack on top of that.. but with all these eviction cases going on .. can’t lie I’m thinking about calling it off with my lease right now, because I don’t want to end up in that eviction pool. I’ve heard there are plenty of opportunities in Atlanta , for the most part I feel as though I can afford to live there , but after doing some research I do need advice .. is moving to Atlanta in December .. not really a good move rn? I’m moving to ATL soon for a job, and I’m considering living in Midtown. The apartment I like best so far is one building down from a 24 hour liquor store, and there’s some men who hang out in the parking lot night and day and look strung out. The apartment doesn’t offer off-street parking, so I’d be using street parking. I’m a small woman and do shiftwork so I’d be going to and from my car some in the early morning and the late nights. Is it just a bad idea to go forward with this apartment? I guess I’m wanting to be talked into it or out of it lol. Thanks for any advice!

Edit: I should have also mentioned it’s a weird street with a lot of 9-5 businesses on it so it can get pretty deserted at night besides the men.
