Meta Are OnePrep practice tests accurate?
I just finished mine and math was quite difficult and I’m wondering whether anyone who’s taken both can say if it’s around the same difficulty as the real ACT.

I got a 31 on the ACT, and before taking the test, I guess I gave it permission to send the scores to my top 4 colleges. I have a 1510 SAT, but I'm really scared that these colleges will see my 31 and will take it into account even if I tell them not to consider it. What should I do?

This was my most recent score distriubtion for sept. act. I was wondering whether anyone knows exactly how I can practice number and quantity and geometry. Is there a question bank or something I can use for this?

Hi! I’m applying to colleges for Fall 2027 and currently have a 31 ACT. I’m planning to retake it in December to hopefully get a 34.
If I apply Early Action, can I still submit my December score if my application is pending or if I get deferred/waitlisted? Would it help at all?
I was also thinking about emailing each college to ask about its specific policy on this. Would that be a bad idea?
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

I’m going to a college UW volleyball game the night before and my mom says it’s a bad idea. But i just wanted to relax and not stress about it and take my mind off it. is this really a bad idea?

So I’ve been prepping like crazy since I got a 27 on September, and I know that was like a curveball for me because that’s not my skill level, but then today I took 25MC3 and I got this score. Can anyone tell me if that test is accurate at indicating how id perform on an actual ACT? I don’t feel pressure during standardized testing and I timed myself each time.

I run a site that builds and maintains free educational activities. I'm making some for the ACTs and this is the first. Wondering if anyone studying finds it useful? If so, feel free to ask for more topics to cover.

I am in an ACT prep class, I’ve taken the entire practice ACT once my freshman year and got 24 composite. I feel that my ACT prep class isn’t truly helping me though because the teacher that teaches it is only really qualified to teach science but she’s teaching all of the sections.
So far we’ve studied over science and math and I feel like my scores aren’t improving on my practice tests that much(the highest shown for science was taken in sections instead of all at once). I want to get the truly best score I can get so I can get into college to put as little strain financially as possible and I’m unsure how I should study beyond this class.

Im taking the ACT this weekend, and I’m honestly feeling discouraged. My dream is to attend an HBCU, but many don’t offer as much scholarship funding, and some merit scholarships require test scores. I’m scared my ACT score could affect my ability to afford attending one…
I originally hired a math tutor, but they ghosted me. I was also supposed to take the ACT last month to get a baseline score, but an issue with my counselor caused me to miss it. Now I’m studying on my own, and it’s been so hard. I struggle with the most basic math concepts and grammar isn’t clicking. I’m smart but I feel like attending a public school in arizona has set me back in a multitude of ways.
Recent practice test
Reading: 29
English: 27
Math: 15
Composite: 24
This is just a practice score. I know the actual test will be harder.
Anyways, I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA and a 4.4 weighted GPA, and I’ve worked really hard in and outside of school. My family is low low income, so scholarships are VERYYY important to me.
I’d really appreciate any advice or success stories.

I got a superscore 34 rn, 36 math, 34 English, 31 Reading (which I want to get up this Saturday) and 34 Science. This Saturday is gonna be my third time taking the ACT. I’ve been grinding reading, but now idk if I should try and increase my science score too in the three days I have left. For reference I’m a Junior rn and I’m eying places like the Ivies, CMU, UIUC, GTech, etc. What do yall think, should I grind science for Saturday or take the ACT a fourth time just for Science?

A lot of the posts on here make it seem like you have to get your dream score on your first attempt, but I want to assure you guys that is simply not true. Progress does take time, but the grind is def worth it at the end! :) Happy studying, guys!
(This is from 4 months of consistent practice)

Hello, on my first ACT attempt I did really good on Math and Science, however, my English and reading scores were terrible, I've already studied up on English Grammar, but I'm still struggling with reading, any advice would go a long way. Thank you.

If you’ve been struggling with the SAT this is your sign to consider switching to the ACT! I’m a senior and this was my first try, last ditch attempt at having a good test score after a few mid tier SATs. The test questions are literally soo much simpler and straightforward than the SAT, and this is coming from someone who did basically no ACT prep and a decent amount of SAT.

Has anyone else had this issue with MyACT?
When I enter my login information and click the Log In button, nothing happens. I've had this problem before, but it usually fixes itself after a day or two. This time, it's been about a week, and I still can't log in.
Has anyone experienced this or found a fix? I've tried waiting it out in the past, but that doesn't seem to be working this time.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
