I know about the moment going down skyline that probably me over driving the car still getting used to the car after 5 months of not playing ACC

Hello,

Trying to setup my quest 2 in ACC since I only have a 27" monitor.

Everything working well so far, no lag, good quality in the car and so on.

Handle 80fps with 7800xt in 70 resolution scale-150% pixel scale

BUT

far object are blurry/shimmering/jiggling, this is a weird thing happening and don't really have word for it. when looking at random dude running q2 on acc even with bad optimisation they don't have those bugs.

Could my helmet's lens broken?

If only this could be fixed, could be a blast, game feels so easier while being inside the car..

I know ACC is lousy in VR but I want to try to make it decent, some configuration suggestion with pimax dream air, ryzen 7 9800x3d and rtx5090

Racing in monza, for 30 mins, in the lead, lap after lap in some public server, only for the admins or however a server runs, to end the race and restart to free practice in the last lap, and right before i cross the line, never got my safety rating points, or the other points. I just fucking hate this game and how its designed so much man

I’ve been playing racing simulators for the last six or seven months, and I’ve noticed something very specific about myself. I usually drive for around 4–6 hours continuously, doing race practice, hot laps, and sometimes online races. I use earphones so the engine noise doesn’t disturb anyone else at home.
For the past week, I’ve been having some trouble falling asleep. One night, I went on YouTube and searched for POV cockpit videos of endurance races—six-hour races, onboard footage, things like that. I played one at around 75% volume, kept my phone beside me, and somehow I slept incredibly well.
The strange part is that the sounds that help me fall asleep are exactly the kinds of sounds I hear while sim racing—the engine, gear changes, braking, exhaust noise, and the overall cockpit ambience. Silence actually makes it harder for me to sleep, but those racing sounds relax me.
I don’t know if this is common among people who spend a lot of time playing racing simulators, and I’m not really sure whether it’s a problem or just something my brain has gotten used to. But yeah, that’s basically my experience.

Quando finisco una corsa online, non importa se dura 20 minuti o 2 ore, mi piacerebbe rivedere la registrazione.

Non posso farlo correttamente perché nel momento in cui il server si resetta, la registrazione non è più disponibile.

Quindi mi piacerebbe salvarle ma, anche se cancello tutte le registrazioni nella galleria, non riesco a salvare più di una porzione della corsa, di solito gli ultimi giri.

Qualcosa che non capisco è perché, se si tratta di una corsa breve (come 20 minuti), riesca a mantenere solo gli ultimi 10 minuti, ma se è lunga (diciamo 1 ora), riesca a mantenere gli ultimi 20 minuti.

Ora, se è per mancanza di spazio, perché in una corsa di 1 ora posso salvare 20 minuti di registrazione e non riesco a farlo in una più breve? Sento che è più un problema di qualche bug nella Xbox stessa.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been playing ACC for a while and have been struggling to improve my lap times. Recently, I noticed in other people’s gameplay videos that their track condition was set to “Optimum”.

For the past year or so, I’ve always been using “Green” without really thinking about it.

Is “Optimum” the standard setting that most people use?

After switching to Optimum, I managed to shave more than a second off my lap time after just 2–3 laps. Honestly, I’m kind of stunned and frustrated that I’ve spent the past year driving on a different track condition without realizing how much of a difference it could make.

I’m a Japanese player and have barely participated in online races, so I’m not very familiar with the usual settings or standards in the ACC community.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could explain which track condition most players typically use for practice, hotlapping, and online races.

What are the odds of setting the exact same lap time twice in a row? First time I've ever done it consecutively.

None of my friends sim race.. looking for some people to drive with. I'm on hawaii time so 5/6 hours ahead on est.

Ive only been seriously at it on ACC for about a couple months but i dont get how some folks are running 2:17s @ Spa...Im a consistent 2:22 With a unicorn high 2:20...but im not seeing where im losing multiple seconds...assuming it has to be my setup. On this lap i know where i made a couple mistakes that keep me from my unicorn 2:20...turn one was a rhythm mistake from unpausing in my defense.

What do you think of my driving?
