Considering my very first 3D printer was an Ender 3, this absolutely blew my mind. 🤯

After 2,500 hours of printing, the PTFE tube finally gave out. The printer detected the problem, stopped by itself, waited for me to replace the tube, and then simply continued printing right where it left off.

Still seriously impressive! 🤯

Sermoon D1 is not reading the SD card:

Steps taken:

Purchased a new SD card (8GB),

Replaced the SD card reader,

Formatted the SD card to FAT32 with an allocation unit size of 4096,

The SD card is read without any issues on the computer.

Advice for first printer for D&D terrain

Hi, Still looking to buy son a printer for Xmas that is good to print D & D terrain. I am leaning towards Bambu p2s or x2d, Snapmaker U1 or Flashforge creator 5 pro. Also waiting to see what the new bambu printers that are coming out soon. If they come out w a multi head that is reasonably priced I would probably go for that. I want the printer to vented outside even if printing w PLA due to having a parrot and cat w asthma plus our own health. Which printer would be best in your opinion for the terrain.

Bambu Lab P1S (used?) or Elegoo Centuri Carbon 2

Hi everyone. I have an Ender 3 Pro and am ready to upgrade to a new printer. I am stuck between the P1S and the CC2. I don’t print too often anymore and I only print using PLA or PETG on occasion. I also mostly print designs I make.

I am also stuck on whether it is worth getting either the AMS bundle/multicolor canvas for the CC2. I don’t really have interest in multicolor printing, partially because I’m just used to not having it, and also just don’t see myself using it too often as I only have 2 rolls of filament and just use it for printing useful hardware/attachments and almost no props. The value is just very good to get the combo instead of purchasing separate later on. Is it worth getting the bundles for any added features?

I know BBL is doing something with their ecosystem/software but I don’t really understand it. I personally don’t care too much about doing stuff wirelessly or in a mobile app cause I’m used to the usb to download prints and load into my E3P.

Is it worth buying a used P1S with <400 hours if it can be purchased for under $400? Basically just puts out the same price as the CC2 however, obviously it’s used but in good working condition. I’ve personally just always wanted a Bambu lab printer, however I cannot justify really spending over $400 for something I barely do anymore. I just want easy and reliable use. I was very tempted on buying the CC2 during prime day for $340 but didn’ pull the trigger, even tho the value is great. I figure Black Friday will also have good deals coming up.

transparent resin

Hello, I’d like some advice

I’d like to print a transparent blue part, but I only have clear white resin. Can I use a blue acrylic-type paint and mix it with the clear resin to make it blue, or is that not possible at all?

Thank you

Sovol SV08 Price Opinions in 2026

I have a Prusa MK4S. Love it but occasionally run across something that I want to print but it doesn't fit on the bed.

Ran across a low print time Sovol SV08 with enclosure and the Microswiss Flowtech hot end already installed for $400. I have no issue fixing and tinkering so the reported issues don't scare me away. First upgrade would be the eddy sensor.

Considering it would be just north of $800 new that seemed like a good price but wanted other opinions.

Yay or nay?

Why is my Snapmaker u1 slower?

Just bought a Snapmaker u1(loving it) but it’s slower printing than my ad5x… I thought multiple heads was supposed to help with speed. (Got it figured out ty)

What printer should i buy

I'm looking to buy a 3D printer. I've previously owned a Bambu A1 with AMS lite for a while so I'm looking for a little upgrade. I will mainly be printing functional parts like brackets, organizers, and other engineering stuff with a little bit cosplay on the side.

I currently have my eyes on Bambu H2D with 2 AMS HTs (or maybe a AMS 2 + AMS HT). However, with the recent controversies surrounding Bambu, I am a little bit hesitant on this. I've seen a lot of good things about Prusa core 1 L with the indexer, but that is a little bit out of my budget range. (I'm looking to spend around 2k)

The main reason for me to choose H2D is because I want dual nozzles and an enclosed printer. I want to experiment with printing different kinds of materials (ASA, TPU, etc) not just PLA and PETG. And i reckon I won't be using too many different materials per print ( at max maybe 3).

That pretty much sums up my case. Any suggestions? or should I just go with Bambu H2D.

[WTB] Looking for a Used 3D Printer Under ₹5,000 (Including Shipping) | Student on a Budget

Hey folks,

I’m looking to buy a used 3D printer and was wondering if anyone has an old one they’re no longer using. My budget is ₹5,000 max (including shipping).

Something like an Ender 3 or even a DIY kit would be great! I’m totally fine with a printer that needs minor repairs or some tinkering, as long as it’s fixable.

I’m a student and have been saving up for this for a while. I mainly want to learn 3D printing, experiment, and make useful stuff.

If anyone has a printer lying around that they’d be willing to sell within my budget, please DM me.

Thanks a lot!
