Same, I got mine first DS or rather 3ds XL in June, I have installed Pokémon Y, brilliant, platinum, HG and White, currently I'm playing HG and literally now I'm in blackthorn gym! Also when I played Pokémon Y and now I'm scratching my head how is it so much complex and looking so much better than legends ZA 😅 (except resolution but on pc upscaling is amazing)

It's not like you can pay for anything even if you wanted to. The eshop has closed down years ago and they stopped manifacturing games.

Maybe you can find used copies of what you want to play online, but even if you don't get overcharged you're giving money to some reseller, not the people who made the game.

I got it out of its box once to check the condition - the foam bag wasn’t even opened. Probably because the seller was a shop in Germany and not a person. Reptesentative said I got the last one.

Maybe if you own minish cap try the native port of it, I’ve been digging it. I didn’t realize it until after the first dungeon but it has options to adjust the screen color and size.

They got mods to native port lttp too but I haven’t tried it, you have to provide your own dumps but it’s pretty straightforward instructions on GitHub

Honestly considering the state of hardware manufacturing any old console is worth way more than ever (3DSxl and 2DSxl are around 150-300 USD).

Not like you can buy anything form the e-shop or get physical games easily, they are pretty expensivem butttttt, with enough know-how you can really play anything on it (yarrr..). Replacement joysticks and parts are super cheap on Aliexpress and stuff. You can make it last till you have grandkids lol.

I would say after I updated homebrew for everything new such as luma or godmode. My switch 2 is on the desk with full of dust. I barely touch it for a month unless charging to maintain battery health.

If you don't keep that you're missing out on the worst way to play GTA Vice City. Also some of the best games to ever grace the earth. I still have my original 2DS that I got for Christmas back in 2015. I love that thing.
