Long story short. Piecing this together with odds and ends I have around the workshop/hand me downs from various other rigs. No particular goal with this car. I have a LS swapped 350 for going fast and a bagged v36 sedan for going slow lol.

Got a CF steering wheel from Vevor today and installed (also today..) $170 for it, honestly not bad! Noticed my alignment is a bit off after installing though, the wheel is definitely aligned properly on the splines, i checked 5 times before putting it back together

I have a 2013 Nissan 370Z Base with a 6-speed manual transmission.

I’ve noticed that sometimes when I shift from 4th to 5th gear, I hear a grinding/crunching noise or the shift feels rough. Other times, 5th gear shifts completely smoothly.

I’m just driving normally, not racing or shifting aggressively. Gears 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 all seem to shift smoothly, and my clutch feels normal.

Has anyone experienced this issue with their 370Z?

I’m wondering if it could be a worn 5th-gear synchronizer, transmission fluid, or something else. How did you diagnose and fix yours? Was it an expensive repair, or did you have to replace the entire transmission?

I don’t need it to be perfect I’m modding this car anyways I don’t mind a little imperfection but Im considering a diy job . I’ve seen many styles of car dent repair kits. I'm looking to buy a set for winter use and I just wanted some 18s that would clear the brakes without mods or spacers. I currently use a set from a 350z but they need spacers which is what I want to avoid. Thanks!

My VDC control light comes on, and the transmission starts acting weird. The car feels like it goes into neutral, RPM rises freely, but the car barely accelerates. When I let off the gas, RPM drops very quickly. Turning the car off and restarting temporarily fixes everything, but the problem comes back after around 10 km. No AT CHECK light.
Could this be low ATF, a wheel speed sensor, or a transmission issue? Has anyone experienced this?

Got a TPWS light last night so I checked my tires and they were only a few pounds low. When the light came on and also this morning, it started by flashing and then stayed solid. I’ve done a bit of scouring the sub and it sounds like the flashing upon startup means that the TPWS sensor could be bad. Has anyone had experience with this?

Got this off FB—it's a 350Z axle-back with relocated flanges to match up with the stock mid-pipe. The seller mentioned zero drone at any RPM due to the Helmoltz chambers and just a subtle increase over stock sound, which is exactly what I'm aiming for (and no, I'm not looking to go Invidia). If anyone's running this exact setup, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Thanks!

I spent the last two weeks busting my head trying to figure out a freaking noise of metal squeak after installing ISR Performance FUCAs and BC coilovers, after thinking it was a bad BC coilover I returned to old TEIN springs but the sound was still there. , well, after almost giving up and about to go back to stock upper control arms , noticed what was the problem.... Almost killed myself

The Alibaba replica FI header is starting to gain popularity since it’s priced pretty low at about $400-$500 shipped.

It doesn’t have the fit and finish or the bracing of the FI.

The inlet ports different in weld consistency and the pipe shape to the inlet flange is different. The FI keeps the pipe circular (inlet flange ports are oval/elliptical). The Alibaba pipe is oval like the port and transitions to circular.

I have sold several and have a friend who has it on his g37. Slight fitment issue at the y pipe but manageable to make it work. I have sold it to a guy with a HR 350z, Q50, and other g37 owners. I haven’t heard of anything feedback from them.

My pictures mixes the FI and the Alibaba positions so the video is best to watch for consistency.

I've installed an NPC clutch with a 10.6kg single-mass flywheel and a ZSpeed CMAK kit on my 370Z.

Everything seems to be working fine, but there's a pretty loud rattling noise at idle in neutral. The noise completely disappears when I press the clutch pedal.

I jacked up the car and noticed that if I gently move the clutch fork to pull the release bearing away from the pressure plate, the rattling noise completely disappears.

Is this normal with the ZSpeed CMAK and single-mass flywheel setup, or could something be wrong?

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

the speaker is glued to the plastic on the dashboard, am i able to disconnect this plastic piece?

Has anyone in this subreddit built their own turbo kit for these cars? I’ve always wanted to turbo mine but can’t justify the price. I can weld and thought I could cut several thousands by fabricating my own. If so, what are some links to follow or videos? I don’t see too much on this for VQ owners
