still can't believe brewers took both games from dodgers, milwaukee crowd was absolutely electric in monday

Brewers had the best record in baseball but I’m still in disbelief at how they’re performing.

I am a Dodger fan, but I remember interacting with a Brewers fan here, I say if I am the Brewers, I will want to, and think we can take 2 out of 3 in LA...

Blake Snell, when lights out, is fantastic, but I don't think we will be getting the 2025 NLCS G1 version Snell. He can still pitch well but I think Blake Snell in his present version will be much more hittable than the 2025 version...

Glasnow is a wildcard. He is like a lucky star for LAD, LAD has never lost a postseason game which Glasnow stepped foot in... But if the Brewers can hit Skubal and Yoshi, they should tell us they can hit Glasnow...

And if there is a game 5, Brewers get their ACE again...

You do not want a long series against experienced team like the dodgers...

I think they should start counting the World Series as part of promoting them. Include pre modern and I think you get alot of aura out of "The 130th World Series"

If I am Pat Murphy, heading to the road to Dodgers stadium, I'm telling my players "hey, we can win two games in LA"... (Painfully saying this as a Dodger fan)

So if I am Pat Murphy, I'm telling my players "let's try to play well on the road so we don't have to return to Milwuakee facing those guys again". You don't want to face Yamamoto again, he will clearly pitch much better next time around (and Will Smith will remember to use ABS)

And OFC if you are a Dodger fan you wish you get to see Yoshi pitch again...

Rays lose game 1. Someone posted a random section of seats that were empty before the game started to r/baseball. Vibes are at a season low. But I still believe this team can win it all so fuck it we ball.

The Dodgers best chance of getting back into the series is to remember they were essentially dead last playoffs on multiple occasions.

DAY 221 (714/796) on THE ROAD TO THE 2027 4th WBSC PREMIER12 and 185 YEARS OF BASEBALL - Reflecting on the 2026 BBCL Season and Getting Ready for '27

Congrats to Italy for punching their qualification to the WBSC Premier12/16!

As the 2027 BBCL season launch nears, we reflect on how much the young league - with 2 charter teams and 4 expansion, one returning historic organization amongst them - helped revitalize baseball in the United States in part.

From its headquarters in Savannah's Grayson Stadium to stadiums across the country, the packed crowds served as a vindication of its massive growth and expansion, with the addition of Spanish and Japanese language broadcasts also proof of its growing international fanbase growth and pivot, while having seen record fanbase growth in the USA itself and witnessing many great names grace its gamedays week after week.

Their efforts have also seen a travel ball explosion as well, with the youth training program expanding even futher and its efforts now bearing fruit.

Come this Thursday the league, while preparing for the season encore at month's end and for next week's league draft as they welcome another new set of rookies to the league, will begin the 2027 season with its season launch and the release of its regular season schedule and playing locations, expected to be even bigger and grander than what any other barnstorming league has ever done before - one that will bring, regardless of the possible lockout, not just benefit to the sport, but a new set of players and fans that the sport will have in its ranks.

For Glory

John
