Beaded cap
Definitely my biggest project so far. I'm really satisfied with the results, it was initially my plan to only do the rim, but I decided later that the embroidered feather looked a little too plain & gave it a quick outline.
The rim has 3125 beads (125 rows, 25 beads per row)
It's the only project i've been able to count beads on & I almost used my entire vial of orange beads 🤣
There's still some mistakes, a bit uneven, but since it's just for me to wear it think thats alright
Bought the hat from the Stó:lō nation gift shop

Getting started
Hi 👋🏽 everyone.
I’ve been wanting to get into beading for the last several years, and after seeing all of your beautiful work I am inspired to actually take the step. But my question is, how do you get started if you don’t have anyone teaching you? I’ve done some Google searches and found some stuff on YouTube, but I wanted to know if there was any resource that may be better than another? I am out of touch with anyone that beads but I am really being pulled to start beading myself.
Thanks in advance for the information, and thank you all for sharing your beautiful work.

Peyote Seahawks Keychain
My pops wouldn’t let cardiac arrest take him down. Today we celebrated his 80th birthday and I gifted him this keychain. Tell your loved ones how much you love them, tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
Size 11/0 delicas beaded around bamboo with buckskin tassel.

Some little witches!
These were so fun to make. The outline is in charlotte cuts so they are pretty sparkly. 🧹

My ambitious first step into flat stitch & cabochon beading
I'm still a very new beader, only really doing it since late march/early April, & have only been doing fringe earrings (& a little exploration of dentalium) in that time.
I was fortunate to meet a very talented beader who gave me some advice and feedback, and with her wisdom, I was able to make this pair with some mother of pearl buttons & moose hide backing using the two needle method.
I made another pair where I gave a try to embellishing the cab, but I'm much more excited about this pair where I successfully beaded little mountains, did some patterned edging, worked with rhinestone banding, and even attached a jump ring so I can change out the dangles on the bottom.
I feel like my possibilities are endless with these little guys as long as I have white, teal, or black dangle accessories. I am very, very proud of how these turned out for my first serious try at flat stitch. Huge, huge thanks to Bonni for opening up my path in the world of beading.

Newest necklace 🌲
Last May, I got some pine nuts from a beader from Pit River. Finally made something with them! Has preciosa bicones, glass 6/0 pony beads, 1/0, and 11/0 seed beads, and some very cool glass claw beads I’ve been itching to use as well. I may have scraped up my fingertips a little sanding and carving out the nuts, but it was worth it. This might be my favorite necklace now.
