Utilizei água gelada, erva-mate cancheada fresca (estilo pura folha, marca Ekoa, do Paraná, estado do Sul do Brasil) e Bombilla marca Purinox.

Sabor ficou bom, gosto de coco no retrogosto, levemente aromatizado. Recomento o teste.

i really want to try yerba mate. especially since I've been feeling so exhausted lately... but I haven't been able to find any cafe that serves it, or any place selling the leaves and gourd/bombilla to brew it myself. does anyone know a place in istanbul??? where ican try it or buy the set in person?

I’ve been dringing Mate for a few months now. Got some CbSe Grapefruit flavor which was like drinking a flavored water with cigarettes put out in it. This is Cruz de Malta. I’m a big coffee drinker and generally drink cold tea and I wanted to give Mate a go and it’s been cowding out my evening cold tea. It’s been great. I enjoy the unique vegetal flavor. I haven’t had it hot. It’s just not how I like it. Does anyone else drink it this way? I only see the purist preparations here. Any recommendations for brand if you like it this way? Is this a common way to drink it elsewhere? I do 2 sifted tablespoons per liter. I’ve not had the transcendent experience others have nor has the stimulative effect ever prevented me from falling asleep.

This weekend is Matear, the biggest yerba mate fair/festival in the industry. It brings together producers, brands and a lot of the people behind what ends up in your gourd.

Since I live and work with mate every day, there’s a lot I take for granted. So I’d rather hear from you: what have you always wanted to know about yerba mate? I’ll take your questions to the owners, exhibitors and key players.

• Why certain brands are so hard to find outside Argentina.

Holas! perdonen la ignorancia...

Estuve de viaje unos dos meses y cuando volví me encuentro mi mate con estas manchas gris/azuladas y algunas verdosas. Digamos que desde que curé el mate, le di como un mes de uso, antes de abandonarlo por dos meses y encontrarmelo así... vivo en un lugar bastante húmedo, por ciero.

Es normal? es moho o es una tinción del palosanto?
