We are at the stage in humanity where these people just want to break the world into little troughs and gobble up the bits.

They have the wealth of a thousand lifetimes but are willing to destroy everything around them if it benefits the remainder of their one.

Europe/UK really need to wake the fuck up
He's been interfering in their politics for years, pumping out hate and disinformation on an industrial scale, it's genuinely insane they allow him to control the algorithms/content their citizens see everyday

I don’t have skin in the game but the European budget model is to fine & tax US tech- they make way more fining & taxing US tech than their entire sector brings in on tax from home grown EU tech firms. It’s logical US tech would fund opposition to that.

It's irrational if their tactics reduce market share and hit longerterm profits. It's just increasing calls for tech sovereignty and indigenous development.
It's like saying to the toddler that wants all the other kids' sweets - without considering the other kids have thoughts of their own - that they're being logical.
Instead of opposition, they could have pursued a cooperative path.

The European budget model is to enforce trade and consumers laws and fine the perpetrators?

Maybe Elon can harass the taliban, Xi, Putin, and whoever controls Iran instead?
Oh wait he won't because he's a BRIICS traitor

Elon Musk dared Putin to a fight for Ukraine in 2022, he has never mentioned it again.

u/Muzle84 6h ago
Of course, X should follow EU regulations in EU and Elon should not interfere with Europe's internal affairs, but..
Ukraine needs Starlink. French Eutelsat is already used to provide intel, but is far behind Starlink.
Elon will spit again his venom and I hope it will not go any further, until Europe is really able to fully support Ukraine and has viable alternatives to US social networks.

Stop accusing and start charging and convicting

Convict Elon of what? For posting on social media? Elon can say vote for x. It's up to people to decide whom to vote for. Is he stopping people from voting for y?

The richest men on earth, tech billionaires (ie Musk, Thiel) goal is to destroy this current global system of things and install boundary-less techno authoritarian states with mass surveillance run by corporations around the world. They don’t want democracy. This is what concentration of wealth looks like: a worldwide coup. Tech billionaires are the enemy of humankind.
Hear it from their own mouths.

They use tactics of fear and anger to drum up votes and support. It's a very common practice of populism, fascism and dictators. This is how Trump got voted in.
They learned from Edward Bernays, psychologist to the dictators:

Edit: What's even scarier is that now Dominion Voting systems used to count ballots is now owned by a Republican.

I think the someone from the Ukrainian military should have a face to face meeting with him and explain their concerns.

This is old. Musk is mercurial and he will not hesitate to use his wealth to force thing his way.

If Musk were to engage in criminal harassment of world leaders with intent to harm democracy, who would stop him? Trump is a documented criminal and has done much to protect other criminals. Musk would have free reign to do anything he wanted. Republicans control Congress, the Supreme Court, and the White House, and they have proven they are comfortable with corruption and treason.

So China was right with their firewall against US interference.
French and EU wont have guts nor capabilities to block Meta and Google services.

With a little help from Putin's bot farms. Ukraine's doing Europe's work right now. And the fat junkie isn't happy.

Musk is, of course, obnoxious. But it’s very sketchy when public officials in high offices complain about “harassment”. If you choose to be a public figure, then you sign up for people saying unpleasant, annoying, and even untrue things about or at you, potentially very loudly; you sign up for potential campaigns against your opinions and policy choices; and you sign up for scrutiny far more invasive than would be appropriate for a private individual. Remember when Trump was calling his impeachments “presidential harassment”? Suppressing such “harassment” always results in unchecked corruption.

While normally I’d agree, having people you’ll never meet harass you is leagues different than being in the crosshairs of Musk.
The man is worth hundreds of billions, and controls numerous companies. And seems to have a penchant for spreading lies, Russian narratives, and other hoaxes.
Musk has proven to be, for all intents and purposes, untouchable by law. And not just in the US, but everywhere.
And if a public figure calls him out for being blatantly Pro-Russia, or causing deaths from US-aid, or points out the images that Grok conjured up, or any of other dozens of things to hate Musk for…
Musk can fire up a bot farm, and have you fighting off patently false claims and accusations. And these things can spread like wildfire.

This guy thinks of himself as a sovereign nation and it probably would make sense for them to sanction him ... for starters.
