Toddlers are like that. They focus on what benefits them, and what they can gain for themselves, and don't consider the consequences. A sociopath will consider the repercussions.

Ya know, I don't have kids of my own but am an uncle to legions and in retrospect, yeaaaaaaah.

We need some of those repercussions right tf now for this shit (ones that the perpetrators of it pay, not us).
