Hopefully this feeling of betrayal extends to the rest of our historically traditional allies as well -- and that their officials grow some balls and both voice their opinions and start dialogues about how to bypass the United States in trade and other cooperative efforts.

If the entirety of the US is made to suffer due to this guy, and the international voice is strong and united about how f-upped all of this is - and who EXACTLY, by name is to blame, it will eventually break through the firewalls the thicker skulled individuals in this country have surrounded themselves with.

But they need to be made to suffer. As all of us do...so that we have no other choice but to repudiate him.

Saudi-Arabia is now looking towards Pakistan and Turkey for their security concerns. This is kind of unbelievable how badly Trump dropped the ball.

Yeah this is what people don't get about Iran. Iran couldn't hit the US but it sure as shit could hit US allies and then when you don't protect your allies and cause their hardship do you want to remain allies with them

Absolutely hilarious that the oil merchants really went all-in on backing trump thinking they could influence him only for him to absolutely screw them in the worst possible way(s) and his family to just profit anyways.

But have to say, until we hear them drop kushner and his ilk, i dont believe they're divesting from the US/trump yet.

He's just completely inept at leadership. The only thing he's good at is inserting himself into everything.

He's actually very good and proficient in destroying the US and its relationships with its allies. Too good even. Almost like these aren't blunders at all but achievements in the ol' kgb book.

He doesn't have any interest in leadership. He wants to rule like an autocrat.

If you accept he's a Russian asset, Trump has been spectacularly successful. On so many levels he has destroyed the United States from within and sewn so much division, it's impressive.

If we couldn't be the Houthis in 2024 why would we be able to beat them in 2026 after wasting all of our munitions killing children in Iran?

They have. Do you not notice the mass arming on the eastern fronts. Europe is preparing for war. Ukraine has been kicking Russias ass all summer. Trump took yhe deal because Russia cant refine their crude and its pennies on the dollar

If only we did the truly American thing and liberated that oil from Russian hands.

The Big Game is a bit more nuanced. Heres how I see it from the perspectives of the main players.

Trump: Those Venesuela guys keep fucking with the oil prices. Lets bully them out of existance. Holy shit that was easy. Lets do the same with Iran. They have been a pain too right? Ah shit that didnt work. Now the people are mad about gas prices. Whats the easiest way to fix this. Hey Putin!

Putin: HaHa all is going to plan glorious Russia will return to glory. Wait what? They are doing what? Everything fine. Nothing to see here nothing to see here. Hey world cheap crude. We have long lines at gas station. Fix please. Need take over world.

Xi: These idiots. Ill just keep investing in infrustructure and bribing the poor. We will make out move after everything is dust.

EU: Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck. ITS HAPPENING AGAIN!

Canada has been doing exactly that. All that internal stuff is your business, but the world is moving on without you.

In Russia-Ukraine War somehow US was first to capitulate

Internal US shit is internal US shit. Where things will slowly pivot away is the international scene. The USA has been trusted internationally....or at least been predictable...for decades. Gradually this is changing as more and more countries realise how unreliable they can be. Only two nations can trust how Trump will treat them; Russia and Israel. The rest of the world has unreliability at best and outright contempt as worst. Organisations like the EU would do well to slowly move away from a US relationship and more towards mutual support and self interest.

I hate that I believe you’re right

Trump saved the world from the US by lighting it on fire.
