My High-End Windows 7 Laptop Acer Aspire Ethos 5943G with i7 has a damaged screen as of today. 2/3 of the screen flickers slightly (possibly the backlight) and then freezes for several seconds.
Even though this model is from 2010, I've bought it like new in 2025. As of it's new condition, I have always taken care of it. But I have to admit that I’ve slammed my laptop shut hard several times recently. But I think it would be hilarious if that was the only reason for it.
I prepare now moving to my Dell Studio XPS 16, which is slightly older, but nevertheless with a great performance.
I won't throw my Ethos 5943G away, because it's a super rare high end laptop which I love. I wait until I'll have the money to get this baby repaired.
