To op, i'm not talking about the ms dos executive from 1.0, i'm talking about the graphical environment with window borders and buttons, or what Microsoft always called a "shell". I was under the impression that it's not possible to change the position and orientation of the buttons in modern windows since newshell for nt 3.51.
