I’m considering renting at One Domino Square and would love to hear from anyone currently living there or who has lived there recently

I’ve seen some mixed comments about management and amenities, so I’m particularly interested in hearing about those. I have quite a few questions below, but absolutely no need to answer everything!

1. Management & Maintenance
- How has your overall experience been with Two Trees Management?
- Are they responsive to maintenance requests, complaints, and general questions?
- Have you encountered unexpected fees, billing issues, or difficulties getting problems resolved?

2. Amenities
- Are the amenities as nice and well-maintained as advertised?
- Do the gym, pools, sauna, cold plunge, coworking spaces, and other facilities get crowded? Is it difficult to reserve or access certain amenities?
- Have there been frequent amenity closures, maintenance issues, or restrictions?
- Are there additional fees for certain amenities, guests, or reservations?

3. Elevators & Building Operations
- How reliable are the elevators? Are there long waits during morning/evening rush hours?
- How is package delivery and storage handled? Any missing packages or long pickup waits?

4. Transportation & Location
- How reliable is the building’s shuttle to the subway?
- Do you find the distance from the subway frustrating, particularly during bad weather?

5. Utilities & Monthly Costs
- What do your average monthly electricity bills look like in the summer and winter?

Lili was dumped as a kitten in an empty lot in North Williamsburg. Thankfully, she had feeders who loved and looked out for her. But Lili became too friendly for street life: she would let strangers approach and pet her, leaving her vulnerable to all the dangers of living outdoors.

I brought her in and she immediately relaxed and started purring! She is one of the chillest cats I’ve ever met. She’s independent and happy to do her own thing; but when she sees you come over to pet or brush her, her little face lights up and she starts making muffins. Her butt also goes up all the way when you scratch her back, it’s adorable. 

She’s staying in an indoor-outdoor closed shed, but she can't remain there once the weather gets colder. She needs an indoor foster home urgently.

She's already spayed, vaccinated, vetted, and litter-box trained.

What Lili needs: A quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She needs to be the only cat in the household.

Lili is a bit shy when meeting someone new in a closed space, but she has a sweet side that comes out when she feels safe. She gets so excited about mealtime, and goes crazy for Temptations treats. She even does a little raspy meow when she’s very happy.

Lili had a positive FeLV screening result. She is completely asymptomatic and otherwise very healthy.

I know a shy adult immunocompromised cat isn't always the easiest placement, but Lili has already survived so much on her own. She's a little Williamsburg local who has spent her life outdoors through no fault of her own. She deserves the chance to discover what it's like to be safe, comfortable, and cared for. Don’t you think?

Could you foster Lili? Even a temporary foster for the winter would make a huge difference and give us time to work out her next steps. The Cat Collective agreed to sponsor her, so support and supplies are fully provided (food, litter, bed, etc.)

I can’t emphasize enough how special this girl is and it would kill me to have something happen to her because she can’t stay where she is much longer.

Bodega is a 6 year old orange/beige/white underside tabby cat. He has a habit of running out the door, and was last seen around 5/6 pm. I’m not sure if he was found & taken, escaped out the building, animal control collection or what. He is not fixed and was exhibiting mating behavior for a month before stopping.

Possibly last seen in the South Williamsburg/ North Williamsburg area. I don’t know how far cats travel, especially a house cat, but Bushwick area as well. My baby is apart of my family and my little one is terribly distraught about her cat. They were raised together.🥺💔💔

Thank you Fortunato Bros. They were giving out free cake and pastries and had a free espresso stand set up. That’s a block party. Fun DJ, too. When I moved here 30 years ago, there were so many fun mom & pop bakeries, but we’ve lost a lot of them. Many of the Italian-American bakeries and butchers in this neighborhood have also seen a demise lately. Thankfully we can still enjoy Fortunato’s and pray for another 50 years. Really fun party and it gave me a little bit of a Scorsese vibe, for sure. Took an impromptu pic which had their head baker in it.
