I wanted to try doing a recompilation, so I picked a little Wii game I really liked that I don't think anyone else would have done.

Extras over the original: 9 languages, 60 fps, any resolution / aspect ratio up to 4K and 32:9, longer view distance, keyboard and gamepad support with rebinding, options menu (F10)

As an American this confuses me. How is a Wii able to run pal games at 60 fps even if it's outputting a video signal at 50 HZ signal (since apparently not every pal crt tv supports pal 60 HZ) when other consoles like the snes or n64 forced you to slow down the game, englighten me. And yes I know the Wii supports pal 60 HZ but you can change it in the setting to be pal 50 HZ as I'm sure y'all know.

I remember downloading this game (Im pretty sure it was just a demo I played) from the WII shop atleast like 12-14 years ago. The only thing I remember about the game is there was like different levels and you killed cartoonish creatures. The only level I slightly remember is a sandy beachy level where there was like water slime things you killed, the water slimes from slime rancher always reminded me about this game. I'm pretty sure the game was first person and it had like cartoony bright graphics. I have been searching for this game for years and can't find it I get annoyed everytime I think about it because I don't remember what it was called or how to even find it lol. Im pretty sure it was a pretty niche game which is probably why its hard to find and the fact I don't remember much about it besides that sandy level. EDIT: found it after watching more pokemon rumble demo videos this is the game I was thinking of just very distorted memories of it because its been so long, I can't find anything similiar to this game so it just has to be it.

Hiya! I'm bringing my extra Wii to college and while I only plan to use official Wii remotes, I was wondering if I could cheap out on the Nunchucks and/or motion plus.

Nunchucks aren't that complicated from what I understand but I'm guessing Motion Plus adapter probably should be official ones.

But what are y'all experience with third party Nunchucks and Motion Plus adapters

Hey everyone, I'm the dev behind RiftWii. It's a Wii mod loader I wrote from scratch, clean-room, no Riivolution code in it. You drop in Riivolution-format packs or code builds and they load when the game starts. Your game files never get touched.

It handles stuff like Retro Rewind and MKW Deluxe X for Mario Kart Wii, and Brawl code builds like Project+, PMEX Remix and REX. Per-game settings, cheats, modded saves kept separate on the SD, online play through Wiimmfi, game covers, the works.

Honestly I've only been able to test Retro Rewind and MKW Deluxe X on real hardware so far, so I'm looking for people to try it with other games and give feedback.

You need a Wii (or a Wii U in Wii mode) with the Homebrew Channel and a FAT32 SD card. If your games are on USB or SD you'll want d2x cIOS.

Just one of those things I've never noticed before now.

A clean version of the Wii Sports Fitness menu background, with all the original menu elements and HUD removed, leaving just the animated background.

I'm looking to get new Wii remotes and want to know which company is a reliable 3rd party? I did a quick look at Amazon and the ones I saw were all 3rd party remotes. So I just wanted to know which ones were good remotes and nunchucks remotes. Thanks in advance 😁
