For the first time? When I saw it in its opening week in the theaters, people were so jeebed out, a third of the audience had their feet off the sticky (ya back then people threw trash everywhere, fair dinkum) floor - out of sheer terror spiders would crawl up thier legs

Idk if it holds up but Im certain yall are way too desensitized to have it had that effect

The film released a few months before I was born. But Ive watched it a dozen times on UPN. The only thing I caught for the first time was why my mom was so baffled by Daniels' performance in Dumb and Dumber. That was really against the grain of his career.

I remember that it was originally marketed as a comedy, but audiences had such a visceral reaction that they pivoted and starting advertising it as a horror movie.

Thank you. Not often do my own thoughts make me queasy, but that one did. 😂 As for your concerns that this shit will be our new caviar if the musky quiverfull gets its way, I sadly agree. With or without ai, he would prefer things still turn out that way. What a vile human being.
