Honestly kinda feel bad for him in an odd sort of way, he’s basically a reanimated corpse within the machine network

Not saying he doesn’t deserve this type of legacy, but his soul is basically in the equivalent of digital hell for all eternity

Before his dead I only knew him as the toilet paper dude with the tiny face, I vaguely knew he was a right wing think tank but those bighead memes were his only legacy for me.

So, in a way his legacy has improved.

3

u/Tin_Sandwich 5h ago

Think tank is a VERY VERY charitable way of talking about TP USA, it's a propaganda group dedicated to expanding conservative values to kids and college students, that's why he only went to college campuses.

25

u/negative_four 12h ago

Honestly, I don't think his fans even liked him because his body was still warm when they started blaming liberals. His wife at least waited a couple of days to start milking his assassination.

15

u/GoodIdea321 i changed it hahahahahahhahahahahahaha 12h ago

I don't think his fans care for human life in general.

1

u/GG4ming 2h ago

Not quite, they are pro life... Technically. So they care that humanlife is born! Just don't care what happens after that.

19

u/Grilled_egs 14h ago

Maybe quantity wise, but quality wise the proportions of his face have given some good laughs to the world too

716

u/Odd_Main1876 14h ago

I have empathy for his children, and in the manner in which he died, but not the individual, have no idea what kind of father he was, but regardless no man should be given death in such a way before his time, and his children should not have to grow up without a father

However he himself was not the greatest of people, and was hateful and so on, I don’t think he should’ve died that way, but he died as a direct result of the rhetoric he spouted

Death like that can lead to issues, and we should be able to discuss our differences in a much more tolerant way, but when one preaches intolerance and hate and its reciprocated in such a way, one can only find it ironic

He said if his child daughter was impregnated he would make her have the baby, so probably not a terribly good father

Dudes don't even try to defend The Big K anymore they just look at u like this and then reply with an AI-generated Renee Good soyjak

64

u/NotTheFirstVexizz 13h ago

true, but you know jackasses like him are all talk, one can hope he was decent to them. probably not his wife though.

144

u/ShironeWasTaken 13h ago

Not defending the guy by a long shot, but part of me assumes that's just political posturing. If push came to shove I believe he'd go the route of "the only moral abortion is my abortion". Not much better and Doesn't change much in the grand scheme of things but yeah 🤷‍♀️

274

u/RefrigeratorNo1160 13h ago

That's even worse. To be so evil that you'd influence others to do evil that you're too cowardly to do yourself. Either way, fuck this hateful bastard. His children did not ask for this but he gave it to them. It's on him.

2

u/Double-Scratch5858 4h ago

His children are undoubtedly better off

1

u/Throwaway02062004 1h ago

Their mother doesn’t seem much better so idk about that.

84

u/The-Micetro 13h ago

Ya but that’s just you projecting your humanity into him right? We can really only go by his words and actions.

10

u/RefrigeratorNo1160 12h ago

I agree. I'm just saying that this hypothetical scenario described by OP does not make him look better. If anything, it's a worse look

39

u/RazzyRaziel 12h ago

"by a long shot" good one lol, real neckslapper

12

u/Merijeek2 10h ago

Political posturing to push others to do the same.

Fuck him. Best thing he ever did, he did was on September 10, 2025.

10

u/LuchadorBane 12h ago

But why assume that when he’s said otherwise, take people at their word. Kirkensteins monster doesn’t really need people running interference for his legacy.

19

u/LiraGaiden epic orange 13h ago

2

u/Impossible-Sweet2151 7h ago

Here's a fun fact: When he spat that crap on jubilee the girl who asked the question told him "I hope your daughter has a great life and that she get away from you."

5

u/InkFazkitty 7h ago

“We asked Mr anti-abortion his thoughts on abortion, the answer will SHOCK you”

55

u/El_kakas_de_vakas 13h ago

I’m pretty sure he said that if his daughter was raped he’d force her to have the baby

48

u/No-Personality157 13h ago

"Not the greatest of people" is an interesting way to describe a massive piece of shit

41

u/du5tball 12h ago

Ehh, dude died a pretty quick death, his blood was splurting out like out of a fountain, looks like the shooter hit the carotis artery. That's like 2 minutes worth of dying, and at least half of that unconscious from the blood not reaching the head anymore.

Also, according to him, for the right to have guns, sometimes people have to die, so he most likely would've been ok with that if asked. Unless he was a massive hypocrite, of course.

28

u/Strong-Search-2301 12h ago

I doubt he still was conscious by the time he fell from the chair. He was as good as dead.

3

u/lewd_robot 7h ago

Every expert analysis I've seen has said he didn't even know he was hit. The hydrostatic shockwave in his carotid artery, that close to his brain, would have instantly blacked him out. Not to mention the shockwave traveling up his neck, across his jaw, through his skull, through the rest of his brain, etc.

That much force landing that close to his brain would've been far worse than getting punched in the neck with Mike Tyson's strongest punch, so Kirk probably never even knew anything was wrong. He was out before he even started to slump down in his chair and he lost so much blood so fast that he never came out of it.

33

u/New_Examination200 13h ago

I lowkey think they might be better off without him tbh, as callous as that sounds

43

u/1ZillionBeers 13h ago

seeing the word “lowkey” in a conversation about Charlie Kirk is lowkirkenuinly a little bizarre

30

u/New_Examination200 13h ago

oh god you're right I forgot to stay on theme my bad

15

u/Impossible-Neck-4647 11h ago

As i saw someone else say i dont support the way Charlie Kirk was killed but Charlie Kirk supported the way Charlie Kirk was killed.

14

u/GribblesMiniatures 10h ago

It's the death he would have wanted. When asked about children dying in school shootings he said it was worth some deaths to keep the 2nd amendment rights and said that children should be forced to watch executions to make them tougher.

11

u/Zorubark when he at the when he when you when he 12h ago

I'm glad his daughter won't grow up with him, he'd probably teach her terrible things, he said he'd force her to have her rapist's baby even if she was just a child, imagine all the things he'd tell her about womanhood and about her worth, no child deserves such a father around that would put them through so much pain

2

u/sumr4ndo 12h ago

I mean, their mother said "He was on a work trip with Jesus so he could afford their blueberry budget."

2

u/lessontrulylearned 11h ago

We should all have empathy for the children.

These children are going to be permanently reminded that their father was murdered graphically, that the video of his murder is forever going to be online, and that there are a lot of people gleefully celebrating that fact that their father was murdered. Think about how you’d feel in their shoes and it’s really sad.

Did I respect or like CK? FUCK no. He was a racist, misogynistic cretin that preached intolerance and hatred. He didn’t deserve the platform he had, and I wish he had just been a normal guy with a normal life instead of a hatemonger.

2

u/Successful_Shoe_8083 11h ago edited 5h ago

Okay - terrible fucked up concept

Women who had absent fathers have better outcomes than women with abusive fathers.

Honestly, I assume he was probably a good enough father at short intervals and absent otherwise. The amount of hustle/number of hours he was in the public view do not mesh with a super present parent. And genuinely, I think he was probably generic young dad who is well meaning and a bit incompetent, with some kind of support structure for his kids. I strongly suspect his wife was doing less than the balance of the parenting, and her behavior since has made me think more and more that those kids were being raised by support structure (Family/nannies/daycare/whatever)

The biggest risk that I think exists on this axis is that his death has to be an ever-present force in those kids lives with the way that is has been treated by both sides.

I HOPE they are lucky enough to get the RFK Junior version of this where they do pranks (There is an apocryphal story of young RFK pretending to have been hit by cars and his friends yelling out "OH MY GOD, YOU KILLED A KENNEDY") which is not healthy, but he still seems to have gotten to live a full life/his trauma went a weird direction instead of destroying him.

But having people who never knew your father mourning him as a political statement can't be good.

I don't know where I'm going fully with this if I'm honest - I think the kids are going to be harmed more by the martyrdom than the death, If they see the videos those will probably fuck them up pretty badly, and the amount of support they receive in the context of that trauma, and other resilience factors will be the thing that makes the real difference.

As long as they have a community, and as long as there are adults who really do love them and are looking out for them, they should be okay. I REALLY hope that is the case, because there are already lots of people who would call themselves supportive community, but are just there for the political expedience, and not the kids.

There are already people thinking of how they can use those kids to political ends in 20 years, and that is awful. I guess the corollary is, if your absence invites abusers, it decreases the likelihood of positive outcomes?

I hope his kids get to have full, happy lives undefined by their fathers murder. His wife seems like a sack of shit covered potatoes with a sizeable cosmetics bill, hopefully she is a better mom than she is an american. Those kids deserve to grow up in the world that all kids should get to grow up in, safe, where they know with absolute certainty that they are loved, and having people in their life they can count on for emotional safety.

2

u/Stalinium2 7h ago

I’m sorry but nobody deserves to be killed for their political views, people need to learn to disagree with each other dude.

2

u/Flight444 7h ago

The problem is he would regularly call for the death of his enemies for political reasons. https://www.imdb.com/news/ni63814717/

https://www.reddit.com/r/centrist/s/ojosYQqUkX

1

u/Stalinium2 7h ago

How regularly? The link you have is just showing a quote of him asking to bail someone out, not him calling for the death of other people. A better example of someone like that would be Hassan

u/Flight444 7h ago

Counting or not counting gang violence?

2

u/Stalinium2 7h ago

Idk if you think thats funny but that’s not disproving my point so

1

u/Pet_Velvet 6h ago

He died in the way he believed was "worth it" to keep gun ownership laws.

1

u/Illustrious-Sink-374 7h ago

He believed that there should be a few gun deaths every year as the cost of keeping the second amendment, he just fell to his own rhetoric.

2

u/Stalinium2 7h ago

Me and you both know that a political assassination is a little different from your typical gun death my man

0

u/Illustrious-Sink-374 7h ago

You're right, the typical gun death seems to be in schools with a bunch of children being shot and cops standing on the sidelines doing Jack shit.

2

u/Stalinium2 7h ago

The typical gun death is people killing themselves which is 59-62% of all total gun deaths. The second biggest is homocides with school shootings being 0.1% but yes the police’s handling of that school shootings was quite horrible (assuming your mentioning that one in Texas from a bit ago)

1

u/Illustrious-Sink-374 7h ago

Certainly sounds like guns need to be controlled then, that is a lot of deaths due to the easy accessibility of guns, a gun buyback program and strict policy on owning and storage requirements would crack down on that.

1

u/TeeeldiII 9h ago

His children will be better off not having his poison in their minds, too bad about the mom.

1

u/SolidestCereal 7h ago

The fact they were born with him as a father is the real tragedy. Considering what he said he'd do to his daughter I think this might be preferable in the long run, though it's probably sad for them now.

On the other hand, they still have Erika which might just be worse, and this could traumatize and/or radicalize them in a way that'll ruin their future.

So yeah I guess this really is just sad all around.

3

u/Kind_Of_A_Dick 13h ago

What he really saw before he died

236

u/SomeDumbGamer 12h ago edited 9h ago

What’s insane to me is that it’s going to be the guy’s entire legacy.

He was 31 when he died and basically accomplished nothing but being a shill for Trump.

His children will see memes of their dead dad for the rest of their lives and that will be their entire frame of reference for him.

That he was a goon for trump, got shot on live TV, and was hated and reviled so much that the only thing to survive of him in history will be shitty AI memes.

80

u/FelisCactusActual 12h ago

Charlie Kirk's legacy is on the same tier as italian brainrot, it's hilarious

46

u/Dry_Travel_4220 12h ago

Frankly that is better than he deserves

20

u/TurkeyBLTSandwich 8h ago

I think its better he became a meme instead of a martyr for the the far right. The right wing echo chamber was calling for blood and using Kirk as a rallying call.

Thankfully the calls were crowded out by memes of him in everyday media.

But yeah its sort of weird that his kids will see his legacy of hate and racism be overshadowed by his weird wife and memes

40

u/Allaplgy 10h ago

Turning Point has been instrumental in the rise of MAGA and White Nationalist Christofascism in the US, which has harmed the entire world. He was more than just a shill for Trump. He is a major reason we are where we are.

21

u/abcdefghjiklmnopqr 12h ago

I love that for him

5

u/ruggnuget 11h ago

I despise AI with all my core and my bits in between. but this might be the only use of AI that is ethical and I can get behind.

32

u/Odd_Main1876 13h ago

AI itself is not necessarily demon spawn, but the fact it’s pushed into every little thing is absolutely a major issue, and the environmental impact is of course tragic

I’ve heard of cases where it can be used for good in certain fields, but those are specifically designed for said fields, not chatbots and ai generated CP like most are

In the end, if someone uses it in place of creativity, you are essentially committing the greatest removal of human nature every conceived, for what is worse than taking away our unique ability to create culture and artistry from nothing but the mind? It is soulless, lazy and frankly morally bankrupt to give into the machine, especially in places like schools and the like

10

u/Painchaud213 13h ago

Im sure AI has its potential uses that can be useful. Maybe in medical imagery or something. But the negative far far FAR outstrip the positive out of AI. Stuff like you said, chatbots, AI generated abuse material, AI ''art'', souless slop, misinformation, loss of informatic security, environemental damage, power consumption, rising prise of all electronics and their components, potentially a literal economical crisis in the making caused by it's over investment.

There is just so much negative things brought by AI that the positive doesnt matter. Which is why i hate it so. If I could wipe AI from the earth overight, I would do it, even if we would lose all the positive along with the negative. we would be all better off without it. If using AI for the positive means that all the negative get to exist with it, then it isnt worth it. Especially right now, with AI having no guard rail or regulations.

This is why there is no ethical use of AI in my book.

Except for Charlie Kirk slander, because that shit is fucking funny.

7

u/Substantial_Owl_7392 bird muncher 13h ago

i do think that in a while ai could be a useful assistant for programming... but i think its gonna take a while to get there, and i for one am not touching it until the environmental impacts are fixed. and for the most part, i would be happy to see it vanish.

14

u/Key_Watercress8300 13h ago

I find it interesting that Charlie Kirk memes are seen as an acceptable use of ai image/song generation. Typically when something is done with any ai then it is quickly written off as wholly devoid of any quality at all; disregarding the ethical implications, the products are neither good nor bad, just slop. But with Kirkification memes it seems that their ai-slop nature adds to their appeal. "We Are Charlie Kirk" would not be so funny if it were made wholly by a human, and using ai to faceswap Charlie Kirk into gifs is seen as humorous. I wonder why that is. What is the area of irony/satire/parody where ai use is seen as acceptable?

9

u/SomeDumbGamer 12h ago

I Think part of it is that AI stuff is seen as cheap, tacky, low effort, and very obvious. So when used to make fun of someone like Kirk it kind of circles back to being ironically funny.

Like yeah here’s this technology that your dear leader promoted and now it’s being used to make fun of what a weird looking and shitty person you were.

5

u/AX-10 13h ago

Its because many view ai as dogshit but good ol no neck Kirk as even more dogshit so it's better to make fun of the ol reverse dolphin than It is bad to use ai.

3

u/ItsNoblesse 12h ago

I think We Are Charlie Kirk and Kirkification end up being funny because they're unintended outcomes. We Are Charlie Kirk was supposed to be a genuine tribute that ends up being so fucking awful it's hilarious, and the sheer amount of Kirk memes causing a degree of model poisoning in image generators is equally hilarious in a bizarre way. Like picking a silver lining from the AI disaster.

3

u/Kyrptonauc 11h ago edited 3h ago

Yeah this. A lot of the memes began from his supporters using AI to depict him as a saint or literally a Christ figure. Then people started making fun of those or doing ironic ones and it began a massive thing

2

u/acoastaldog 12h ago

People are just fucking stupid man. Their morals are cheap and they exchange it for internet points too

Legacy, not Soul.

Whether the existence of a Soul is real or not, doesn't matter here. But a Soul implies the presence of the person. A Soul is the essence of a being and what composes them differently from other beings. If you really want to be specific (and both controversial and heavily catholic), it's what differentiates """regular animals""" from """human animals""" (science would say otherwise, rightly so, fuck people who think this).

Mr. Kirk... doesn't have a Soul anymore, or at least not one that's present. His Legacy will be this digital shaming for however long it's used and reused for, but his Soul, if they exist, is either burning/frozen in hell for all eternity, reincarnated into a "low karma" being, or was simply eradicated by the nonexistence after death.

Yes, I love being pedantic, it's my personality. /s
